What combination are you using? I can't get it to work no matter which new release and which DAZ original figure I put in there.
On previous days (for me, at least) the pricing on the new releases for that day were correct, they always applied the discount to the base price. It was the featured stores that were nuts. If Holiday discount percentage was more than the percent already applied, it applied the Holiday percent to the sale price. If Holiday percent was less than the discount percentage, it applied to original price. Totally backward from logic. But sometimes the Holiday would apply to the discounted price, it varied. These prices on the new releases for today seem correct, considering what Charlie pointed out (the 60% plus PClub discount.)
I'm just getting a straight 60%, no stacking and my "free" item is 30% off. I have a bunch of stuff waiting in my cart, if nothing changes, I'll just delete it all. Nothing I actually need, but would get if loyalty discount stacked...
Getting a "Christmas Day New Release" qualifies for both a free G2 figure and a knight set. Yep, two freebies!
"Athletic Gear" for G3F is not on the official list, but it works for the discount. I almost got textures for a set I don't even have just to get the freebies, but noticed that Athletic Gear was marked as new and 60% off like all the others.
Here's the weirdness I'm dealing with. Some of the Pro packages are in the 70% off with new release category over various sale days. They're showing up cheaper than the base models, which are supposed to be free.
Some decent deals to be had today. :)
Holy crap! There's a boatload of brand new free stuff on the Christmas page! I'm pretty sure that isn't right though. Will wait till they fix it.
I have seen that a few times in the past and it always reverts to the correct price when checking out unfortunately, LOL.
Still can't seem to get the discount. Heading out for more dysfunctional extended family fun. Will check later after the insanity. Or maybe during it on my phone. Who knows!
The message is, as I understand it, a reminder about the offer on the promo page rather than an extra discount - so you should see 60% (plus PC+ bonus where applicable) as listed on the store page.
Makes sense. I think the confusion was caused by the fact that the pop-up used the same wording as on previous days, where the discount was not pre-applied.
In any case, it's a generous Christmas gift, and those are some neat new releases.

Perhaps so, but if that is the case the message is delivered in a most confusing way, as if it's just a straight discount for all then it is not an exclusive offer, nor a coupon, nor a loyalty reward. *shrug* We have been spoiled all week and I am grateful, but there have also been store glitches all week.
Yes, it says loyalty reward in the pop up as if it is something special, but if you sign out, you still get the same 60% discount and the free item doesn't work and is now even removed from the choices (Fiends Forever) I already own all the others except Cory 6 which is also not offered. I'm very grateful for the previous day's' sales, but don't see anything special about this one, all the prices for the featured artists are higher than they've been all month without the stacking loyalty reward...
Yeah, this is the last thing I want to be confused about on Christmas Day, and the free G2 figure is still not working for me and many others today.

It was showing in the DAZ Original genesis 2 figures free; but it was a mistake and has been eliminated from the listing

I really enjoyed those freebies we got - where it went up each day! That was one of the best christmas things DAZ has ever done!
I found it a bit 'odd' that on the actual xmas day, our freebie was an older gen2 character, instead of continuing with the freebies. LOL. Regardless, it was a FUN sale - probably one of the better Christmas sales here I can remember.

And let me tell you, your Daz Dealz add-on has been one of the best things I've gotten this year! I wish I had some extra money so I could give you a bit tip for that! It's been an awesome help to me to see the percentages off each item, the read me links so easily accessible, the items I already have in bundles grayed out so that I can see easily what I do and don't own in the bundles, and all the other great features. It's an incredible add-on and I can't thank you enough for it! :D
FYI- I noticed Chinatown in the What's Hot, and with one of the new releases of today, it goes to $8.39 in the cart. Possibly from another day's sale- but from $40.00 down to under $9, I scooped it up. You folks probably already grabbed it, but thought I'd mention it.
I bought a new release today, and in addition to the free Genesis 2 character, I got another free knight from the Knight Before Christmas promotion (I had gotten one yesterday with a new release)
While it was a very generous gift give away and I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth - the actual Christmas Day offer did seem anti-climatic.
But maybe DAZ expected that we would be spending Christmas day with our friends and families - not scouring the web for good deals on 3D content - which is also reasonable. You don't want to offer your customers the BEST deal of the season on a day where statistically a lot of them won't even log in.
Sometimes I feel like DAZ is in a "can't win," situation with us as shoppers. I know if I did a render every day for a month, I don't think I'd scratch the surface of all the new content I picked up over this sale.

I'm not sure why but 3DUniverse's Skyler Bundle for G3 and Haley Bundle for G3 are both deeply discounted (with a "new" purchase).
Speaking of free content... I had so much luck with the decripit dinghy sailboat I picked up the Rattlesnake Rum Runner.
It doesn't have separate material zones for the hull, so I had to go in and change the color scheme of the mat in PS - I did a quick job on it, so the sides still have visible wooden planks, but I used a shader to give the top a firberglass refit - and it turned out pretty nice. It also cleans up pretty well for a day on the lake.
With a little work to drop the hull down and give it an open bow and remove the wooden planks on the hull exterior - it'll make a nice Bayliner type leisure boat.
