Intentional Texture seams on clothing, I mean Intentional

I think a lot of real clothing has texture seams where the pieces of fabric meets.  I want to make clothing textures but I think it is unrealistic to have perfect seams on clothing.  How do I achieve this without looking like I am not trying my best and not cheating the customer?

As someone who has been a dressmaker almost all her life, as well as doing clothing textures I try for perfect seams.

There is nothing unrealistic about perfect seams on real life clothing,  and equally nothing unrealistic to have prefect seams on clothing textures for 3d clothing.

Different if you are just floodfilling mat zones/areas with shaders,  but if you want to make actual textures, then be prepared to include details.

Edited to add, did you mean intentional rather than international?

When I make an article of clothing, I tend to lay out the uvs like a flat pattern. That just naturally gives "seams" in all the right places ;).

Using normal maps with the seam areas set up makes a nice effect.

(I learned that while making a texture for Slosh's Superhero outfit)
