Day two holiday bonus code

I closed the message when I log in and now I can't find it. Where can I look the code again?

  • Mine came up on a banner heading along the top of my screen. Or there is a link on the sales page that has a guy with sunglasses on, when you click on that image you'll see the code to use along the top of the page.

    Look under "Exclusive Offers"

    All Orange Banner notifications end up there.

  • I used yesterday 'day-one-bonus'

    but today I have tried many times and day-two-bonus or DAY-TWO-BONUS returns 'Coupon code "DAY-TWO-BONUS" is not valid.'

    I have tried removing items from the cart, adiing different ones - nothing works

    I hope DAZ are going to allow me to use this code on a future day and not miss out

  • How long does it take to get a message 'approved' I posted that I also have not be able to get day-two-bonus to work several hours ago and it is still not here

    Sorry about the delay.  there are unfortunately times when there isn't a moderator around,

    The Day 2 bonus was working fine.  Not sure why you couldn't get it to work.  If you copy and paste the code   make sure you haven't picked up a leading or trailing space.  Also if you type it in do remember that the codes are case sensitive. As we are now onto Day 3  I guess it won't work now. 

  • I copy pasted, many, many times, every time making sure to avoid any leading or trailing characters

    I typed (yes using a keyboard) at least 20 times, using either upper or lower case, remembering the hyphens between the words, taking great care not to prefix or postfix any additional characters

    in no form would your system accept the coupon code

    so the question still remains, are you going to honour the coupon code, which your system refused to accept ?

    regardless of whether or not it has expired

    I know this doesn't help those having problems but I have used the codes every day and had no problem with them. DAZ midnight is approx 07:30 here in Scotland and I do my shopping when I get up, usually around 08:00, and the only problems I have seen is with some of the % stacking but that sorts itself out as people report it.

    I use Opera as my browser both on my laptop and tablet so I am wondering if it is a browser problem or settings problem that is causing different users different problems.

    That question can only be answered by Customer Service.   When You talk to the Daz forums you are talking to other members like yourself.

    One possibility for the coupons not working is that you have more than the allowed number of free items in the cart. It doesn't work that you can put three items in the cart from that selection thinking you'll buy the fourth one. If you do the coupons won't register. You can add items from New releases, etc. But if you want something else from the  potential freebies selection and are willing to pay for it you have to come back separately.

     

    How do I know?  Been there done that. It's what folks call experience. Sigh.

    That's a very good point.    I have only been testing these by putting the  totally free amount in the cart, so yesterday it was 2, haven't even tested with the third one and the qualifying new release, as I haven't been interested in any of the new items.

    You can put 4 (for today's code, for example) items in, but the code won't work UNTIL you add the New Release it that triggers the 'extra' item.

    Add the four items...add the new release...enter the code.  The total should be the price of the new release item...minus any discounts (Holiday Loyalty Rewards, etc).

    I was attempting to make this transaction between 03:30 - 04:30 well inside the allocated time period

    at the time, prior to making a comment here I phoned the DAZ help centre who could not help me

    and then followed that with a ticket to CS, but wasn't expecting an immediate response

    but I thought it might be helpful if I leant my voice to others in this thread experiancing similar problems.

    the browser I use is firefox, which has worked successfully with every other transaction using coupons previously

    I too am familiar with the experiance of Consumer573, and was careful to select the correct number of free items

    although my experiance is that if  more than the allowed number of items from the  'promotion pool' are selected then the coupon code is accepted , however none of the items  recieve the appropriate price modification, ( I made this error on day one, but on re-examination of the shopping cart the error was evident immediatly )

    Thank you all for your advice, but I can assure you, there was no error on my part nor of the browser.

    proof in point - I have already used todays coupon code successfully
