Holiday Sale discounts?

marblemarble Posts: 7,500

Banner says:

DAY ONE | 40% OFF FEATURED ARTIST CATALOGS

50% OFF WITH A PURCHASE OF ANY NEW RELEASE

But maybe I'm misunderstanding because I don't see any discount even if I put one of these featured products in my cart. The way I read it is there is a 40% discount on the Featured Artist Catalogs even if I don't buy a new release. If I do buy a new release then I get 50% off. However, without a new release purchase there appears to be no discount.

I agree. This isn't working correctly. I have the same problem.

Yes; discount isn`t correct. A $17.95 item drops down to $12.95 without purchase (-40% would be $7.18) and no additional discount with a new release.

This hasn't been working since the beginning of this sale, which is almost two hours ago. Can't figure out why there isn't a test run whether or not everything is functioning OK (given the countless times we have had this same problem) before the computers at DAZ are shutdown and the lights turned off for the weekend. Anybody out there listening?

Well, it is getting late on Saturday evening here in New Zealand so I'll check again in a few hours (our morning). Hopefully someone at DAZ will have noticed by then.

  • The "DAY-ONE-BONUS" code to get the free item (or two with purchase of a new release) also isn't working :(

    - The items from this list are not on sale for 40-50% off when they are in the cart:

    - The item that we can get for ftee from this list is not free once it is in the cart:

Make sure you enter the coupon code. I was able to buy a new release item and get two free items from that list.

  • Yep, the free items are working...Just make sure you don't try to put more than two in the cart, or the discount won't apply for any of them.  I was going to buy an additional item from the list.  But, it nulled the discount for my freebies.  So, I had to move the extra one off.

  • It's 5:20AM Central, and the Featured Artist discounts are still not working.  I was going to pick up Easy Environments Hell.  But, it only shows a 30 percent discount total....(my Holiday Loyalty)

It appears that the Bonus Code for the Day 1 free item(s) is not working. Has anyone else been able to use it successfully and can share the magic trick? :)

Thank you Zylox, it works with the code... I had not seen it. :)

Yes, I am having the same problem. No 40% discount only 30% Loyalty discount.

Hope a Mod sees this thread and can report the issue for us before the offers run out.

  • Why does this have to be so difficult. I have 2 new releases in cart and 2 free items and the DAY-ONE-BONUS comes up invalid.

Checked for spaces before and after the code? That was the problem for me. I don't understand why they don't use Trim, it's one line of code and would fix that problem once and for all.

Thanks, Taozen, I just gave that a try but it still doesn't work for me. I keep getting "Coupon Code "DAY-ONE-BONUS" is not valid." I've dumped my computer's cookies, refreshed the page, rebooted the computer...Still the same result. I haven't used this coupon yet, so I'm not sure what is going on.

I had the same problem even after replacing several items (new and free). So I completely emptied the cart then tried again and it worked.

OK, I'm back after a few hours and still confused. Now the Day One sale Featured Artists are indeed showing 40% discount which they weren't earlier but now there is another banner across the top of the store page announcing Day One Bonuses. If I click on that I am told about a coupon for 33% off the same Featured Artists. Is that a further 33% additional to the 40%? If so, how do I apply the coupon as I do not see a coupon code anywhere?

  • It finally worked. I had an item in my cart that I didn't know was part of the sale so in effect, I had 3. So I deleted 1 and the coupon worked.  Make sure that you don't have more than 2 of the "freebie" items or it won't work.

  • marblemarble Posts: 7,500

Ah - ok. The bonus coupon seems to be applied automatically and additionally to the 40%.

OK, that was my problem too. I deleted one item and got the discount. Thanks for the help!

    @ marble:

What are you doing up at 6.34 on a Sunday morning?

Oh, hang on so am I, but I'm going to bed now.

Shame that 33% replaces the Holiday Loyalty Reward. Oh well an extra 2% off is better then nothing.

    Edit: Spelling (again)

Can't seem to sleep past 6 most days even if I try to stay awake later in the evening.

Good point about the bonus replacing the Loyalty Reward but mine was only 10% anyway. I have been moving country during the second half of this year so my store visits have been few and far between. Hence the lower rewards, I guess.

Yes, for the designated items it is applied instead of your "Holliday Loyalty Rewards" .

Did you move from or to NZ? Doesn't matter. Worked it out for myself.
