Legacy UVs? New UV for Victora 3 to Genesis 3 Female?

If I remember correctly, those original Victoria 3 skin textures could be used on any generation 3 figures - Michael 3, Aiko 3, etc., and those other figures skin could be used on V3.   Does that mean this new UV product will allow all those generation 3 skin textures from all the generation 3 figures (not just Victoria 3) to be used on Genesis 3 Female?  http://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-3-special-edition-victoria-3

    The Stephanie 3 UVs are almost identical to the Victoria 3 UVs (the eyebrow region of the SkinHead surface is slightly different), and the one Steph 3 texture I have fits perfectly well.  I don't have Aiko 3, but others have said that works OK, though I cannot confirm it.

    The UVs for Michael 3 seem to follow closely the outlines for the V3 UVs, and I have just tried the Michael 3 texture on G3F - result, a very hairy but convincing fit (see attachment).  There is minor seam exposure behind the left ear.

    Thanks!  It's a very useful product.  What are the chances that this will work on Genesis 3 Males?  Or is that a whole other thing?

    This product will not work for Genesis 3 Males, and I have no plans as yet to make a Legacy UVs set for Michael 3.  The Victoria 3 set is really just an afterthought, a bit of an experiment, as several people had expressed an interest.

    I grabbed this set this morning, I was rather surprised and very pleased to see it, as I was one of the people that begged Caymen Studios for this. I have only had time for a few tests so far, but so far, it looks good. I know a lot of people see little use for older generation 3 skins, but with the few tests I have done so far, they do seem to use far less VRAM during rendering than a typical G3 character, which is not surprising given that there is far less maps involved. When I have time, I want to do more testing with this, and if I can, I will post some test renders.

    Obviously I would love to see this on G3M as well, as there is no way to otherwise get the older skins onto male characters, but no doubt you will have to decide if it is worth your effort.

    Here is a quick example. A3 next to G3F using A3's skin. I did not make any shader adjustments to the skin, which does need doing for these older skins, but it rendered in just 20 seconds, so I can not complain about that.

    Great product, thanks CS!!

    Here is a quick test using my custom G3F figure and the textures from blackhearteds Irina 2.0 for SP3. The first is the default and the second is with simple IRAY shader settings applied, granted you would need to make some new maps such as normal, SSS, etc, for proper IRAY shaders but you get the idea.

    Nah I think you're addicted, ;) just kidding lol,  i was pleasantly shocked by this release,  it went right in my cart just need to check out
