I think they're the related items, in the wrong spot.. I've called it in though to just confirm.

I was about to write a post on this too. I was like ..what? Five required items? lol I'm glad it's not the case. :)

I bought it. It doesn't seem to require anything, as far as I can tell. However, it has no metadata when installed with Daz Connect. Everything is in Lost and Found.

  • I bought it ... and didn't even read the product page ... I guess it looked too nice LOL

Not had a chance to install it yet.

It sure has a lot of morphs

    Here's a quick render.

  • To create new hairstyles myself I've sometimes used two or more combined but to actually be required to have so many hairstyles to use a new one ummm looked like a great deal as well as a nice hair but I have none of those other hair styles and if you really did need them pretty high price to be able to use one whether or not to get it now even if don't have the others

  • are you able to use all the morphs barbult without the hairs? maybe that's what it shares with the other hairs

I saw the 'requirements', blinked, laughed and bought it anyway.

  • Would love to see confirmation on this one way or the other.  It looks like a really versatile product but not if I have to purchase 2 items I don't even like just to use it.

  • are you able to use all the morphs barbult without the hairs? maybe that's what it shares with the other hairs

Morphs couldn't be shared between different meshes. I'm fairly sure that Jack is right, it's the related item list in the wrong place.

  • sitting in my cart with other stuff coming in at $2.62 for with my discounts soooo tempting I have downloading pc freebies textures and addons sometimes that may require other products but because they're free maybe for limited time I grab them in case I buy the required stuff down the track which few times I have

  • well they are all by goldtasel so that makes sense like on some products you see other content listed by same artist or various artists by same theme you ay be interested in bit looking at the hairs I can see some simileraties in different parts of the new hair to different parts of the others which can make one believe she could combine elements from the other hairs to create a new one like I've said I've done that myself but of course again that could be just a coincidence seeing elements of other hair styles just like with any hairstyle could have the same fringe with several hair styles but the rest completely different and yeah just looking at hair styles in the store here there are many very similer but have variations to make them different slightly just like real ones

  • it is a very nice hair though looking again at the promos

just saw it's happening to other products too clicked on the new on the fringe for g3f and the box that comes up lists required products always a lady for g3f don't say that on the product page could this be happening to a few others?

oops my mistake just appeared on the page you need this though I'm positive I didn't see that before but I don't actually understand why this outfit requires a product that are poses

Aave Nainen, the creator of Fringe often includes morphs for her clothes specifically made for pose packs. That Always a Lady pose pack might be the one the morphs are made for. I'm sure it's not really needed, just a bonus :)

  • oh right bit like pandygirl then with her stuff she creates some morphs for her clothing that complement some poses from other sets too and looking at Aave's page I see a few different clothing products but also pose products to complent some of her clothing so in other words with the new fringe you don't need that pose pack but it dose complent it nicely if you want to add that extra detail to it

I bought it before looking at the requirements as well.  I simply saw nice hair in a style that I'd been wanting for a long time.  It's gonna' suck big time if I really do need all those requirements to get it to look as good as in the promos, because every single one of those items is one that I passed on.  crying

I really like the look of this hair too. But the sensible side of me would rather hold off on purchasing, until there's a definitive answer about those requirements.

When I bought it last night, there was nothing about On the Fringe needing Always a lady. As far as I'm aware, the only PC+ item that says about Always a Lady, is the morphs add on for the Hinata Dress. I bought the dress but not the morphs because I don't have the poses.

So, to check it out, I've just loaded On the Fringe into Daz, and I've had no messages pop up about the Always a Lady poses.

EDIT: It's got morph dials (or are dials only in Poser?) for Always a Lady Poses. There are also morphs for the Fashion Model poses,

    (Apologies for the double post)

You won't get an error messgae but the movement morphs for the outfit fit the Always a Lady poses - personally I find this a bit off putting I would rather they match the poses that come with the base Figures.

  • KeryaKerya Posts: 10,943

The On the Fringe dress has additional morphs that match those Always a Lady poses - it doesn't mean you need the poses, it's just an additional benefit if you have them.

It also has those poses ("Fashion Model Poses" are the ones that come with G3F)

Ahh thats useful to know, thank you

  • yes thanks for confirmation on the fringe outfit now hopefully some who has bought it or goldtasel herself can fully answer if kanzashi hair does not require those other hairs or that at the very least still highly useable without to many restrictions problems without the other hairs including the morphs/movement/posing aspects fully functual

I haven't tried every morph, because there are a lot of them. I don't see any dependency on other hairs at all. It must be an error on the product page.
  • Guys.....the page has been fixed for awhile now.  :)  Just lists Genesis 3 Female.

  • thank you barbult and Digital Lite Design
