Messing with discounts before I get a chance to get it.

So here I am trying to figure out what is the best deal with this and that ans start out with kanzashi hair listed at 51% off. And while I'm looking around and finally get my choices down I go back and see the price has jumped to full price making my basket out of reach. How did that happen? The darn thing has been on sale, what 5 ours? I so confused.

To often the "new releases" include nothing of value to me so I'm unable to take part in the discounts offered by the vaerious vendors as a part of the deal. Too bad but living on a retirment income I have to watch the pennys. Sur would a liked that hair and the other items I could have afforded, Now I get none.

Personally I think somebody up there was a chummin' me

Guess what it looks like somebody fixed it. . . but I' still confused

  • When an item is updated (in this case the Required Products were wrong) the price takes a little bit to resettle - the hair is showing correctly for me now.

What Richard is saying in this case, the required product list should have been the related product list...and that was fixed, so the page update had to make its way through the various caches to get to you.

The issue I have is that I don't think the "must be in the cart at the same time" is fair. Yesterday I was a little rash and went ahead and bought George. Then I noticed his body hair product in the new releases but I had already bought George so I bought the hair and missed out on the discount for George. Not a train smash but there have been many occasions when I have missed out on discounts completely because of delaying while deciding if there is anything else I want to put in the cart. Sometimes we just don't have the time to scan all the offers.

    Open a Sales Support ticket.

I thought about that but its only a couple of $$. I more interested in making the point about them needing to be in the cart together. Surely the system can detect whether a new release has been purchased and apply the discount automatically? I mean, the store knows which product we own because we can filter them out of the view.
