Two questions relating to downloading content.

1)  Do I only need the DS files when presented with the option in IM for DS PS and CA files?  (I do not use Poser or Carrara) 

 

2)  I'm wondering if I have dome something wrong with my install setup.  I use the DAZ install manager to install new products and updates.  However, when I switch over to Smart Content in Studio, the new product is flagged for install even though I can use it.  I was wondering if I have set something up incorrectly or does that just the nature of the beast?

    If you use only DS you don't need CA files.

    For Poser files it depends, you may need the poser files: a lot of older items were provided in Poser format, with an extra file for DS materials if you were lucky. You'll need the Poser files for all content made for Generation 3 or 4 figures, for example.

    Does DIM display the file size (I install manually)? Usually if there are DS and Poser files for the same product and are the same size then it means you have full DS and Poser version (so you need only the DS files), but if the DS file is much smaller then you need both
