Morphs that look like people tend to run into problems; see if a free one available

If you have Genesis Generation X2 you can convert the V4-S4 you made available to any of the Genesis figures.

Search Chantelle or Ariana at Renderosity. Both are made by AdamThwaites. They should get you headed in the right direction.

    Likeness rights and such probably.

You are more likely to encounter a legal problem
when you use the actual real life name of the person who's likenes you have simulated in a 3D character.
Many people seek to avoid this by using a clever pseudonym
such as  "Barnold Sportzanbagger" for genesis

The assumption that just changing some letters around is enough to get out of any legal claims is wrong based on practical law in most countries.

The smarter practice would be to choose any random name in no way related to the name of the actor or the name of the character.

For licensed 3d content sometimes it cannot be helped that characters may look similar to any real life person.

What can be prevented is the practice of using names that sound familar to any potential inspiring source.

  • Oh that problem! So I guess Meg would have to be Gem or just keep the 3D image of her for my private use.

For satarical names and matching likeness, as usual it comes down to intent. Mad Magazine -- just as one example -- has for decades relied on the defense of parody to use a famous person's likeness along with a gimmicked name. When done properly, it's allowed in the US and most countries. In my personal opinion, that Barnold Sportzanbagger name, as noted in a previous posts, especially with a character that is clearly a satirical representation of the real Arnold, is fair game.

Using the likeness of a famous person, with or without referencing the name, for the purpose of suggesting an association or endorsement when there is none, or for purely commercial advantage by abusing that celebrity's fame, is where people can get in trouble.

(The above is not legal advice.)

  • There used to be quite an extensive thread on Celebrity Lookalikes. In the days when Victoria 4 ruled the roost, celeb morphs used to be a much hotter topic than they are today. Nowadays? Not so much. Celebs are still seemingly a source of inspiration for many characters, but they aren't dead ringers and the vendors usually don't give the characters any tip-off names.

If you're talking about Genesis proper, I'd forget about your search because most vendors of paid and freebee goodies focus on Genesis 3. Instead, get the proper paid head morphs package and plenty of patience while spinning the dials. Mila's attractive, but her looks don't seem to be so unique that you wouldn't be able to approximate them through morphing. Also, look into different hair packages for sale here. Hairstyles are a big part of any celeb (or character's) look and can go a long way towards capturing their style.

    Thank you!

it is alway a matter how the image used
particularly when it comes to $Commercial$ or political usage.

and of course those who use likenesses to do Xrated stuff

sadly 3D art is often used for such stuff as are lookalike actors with rather colourful similar  names.

I have a morph for step 4 but was hopping to move to genesis as clothing fits or step 4 suck lol, working on a graphic novel that places Hollywood celebs in well bad situations,

this is a Zombie Apoc one with a bunch of movie/tv stars and Mila as the main character, names will be modified due to the laws.

If you have a V4 morph of her already, then you can convert that morph to Genesis with GenX2, which is sold here. Plus with that, you can convert any of your old characters over.
