Rendering in Iray-want a transparent background but then my light presets don't come up

Hi-

I hope this doesn't sound silly, but I am trying to get just a figure with no shadows(no background). I bought several Iray lighting kits, but they only come up if I click on the background to add them, and in that case, the image renders with a white background.

Can anyone point me to the right place on how to do this?

    Jenny, go into your render settings, under the "Environment" area and make sure that "Draw Dome" is set to "off". That should turn off any backgrounds that those lights provide.

    Oh thank you!!! I wasn't sure if there was a way to turn the backgrounds off. That helps immensely.
