Is animate2 useful?

Hello!

I have started doing animations with DAZ Studio and I like it very much. So far I use Keymate and Graphmate to create my animations.

Now I think of buying animate2, but I am unsure what it really does. The product description is a bit short about its functions.

So I have to ask:

What is animate2 good for? Is it "just a player" for aniblock files, or can it do more than that? Is animate2 useful for creating own animations?

I use only Genesis 3 figures and there are just very few aniblocks available for this generation here on the store.

    Hi  AniMate2 is a nonlinear animation /motion system that stores "blocks" of animation motions that can be Combined trimmed reversed ,partially applied, sped up or slowed down.

    regretably it is not functional with the Genesis 3 figures so an exclusive user of G3 may not have a need for it.
