I had to reload my operating system on the C: drive. After installing DIM again, I changed my INI settings in AppData to reflect where I store the manifest files off of C:. It now shows that the 12 or so files that install with Daz Studio 4.9 are already installed, which of course they're not. What do I have to do to reload DS4.9 and related and not screw up anything?
Thank you

Uninstall and then reuinstall - it won't matter that the files to be removed aren't there.
So it's all installed again, runtime directories pointed, it starts out as everything there, but uninstalled (greyed out)?
Thank you
...AND another question. All the freebies I installed are no longer there? Only stuff in my Daz Product Catalog wil show?? Plus apparently M4 & V4 aren't 'linked' yet- they don't appear greyed out under 'all'.. How do I get those back? My Account obviuously, but how do I know what else might be missing? The other thing is Postgre installed to a different location than my old install location, yet I can only seem to choose 1 location in Prefs? Is there something I'm not aware of I should've done or saved from my old installation?
**EDIT**
So I just tried reimporting metadata, and all's good now. So...where is that metaData stored? My DIM ManifestFiles?
Which? The Manifests folder has the files lsiting what was installed, the product metadata for the installed items in in \Runtime\Support, the data used by Connect and to show your uninstalled products is in \Data\Cloud\Meta
Thanks Richard.
I don't mean to be an idiot here :P; so the ManifestFile Folder is what poulates the DIM installed, and the MeatData in Support is what populates the Smart Content tab in DS4.9? Right??
Yes, that's it.
