If you were a vender you'd go ahead and set up your shader freebies like the vendors do. If you want to do it that way you'll need to wait for a PA to come by and advise you.

For freebies like you are doing but as a artist not a vender the regular was is to put / save them here:

    <System Path>\<DAZ 3D Library Path>\Studio\Library\Presets\Shaders\<Your Avator Name>\<SDL><3DL Shader Set Name a, b, c..z>

    <System Path>\<DAZ 3D Library Path>\Studio\Library\Presets\Shaders\<Your Avator Name>\<MDL>< iRay Shader Set Name a, b, c..z>

Those are for preset files and the icons for those preset files.

If you have actual new shader definition language files you have created, wait for a shader vendor to help you with where and how to put those in the DAZ Studio structure.

As in texture files for shader presets?

If, so, make a folder in your name, with a sub-folder of the product you are creating in Runtime/Textures.

  • Put the textures in the /Runtime/Libraries/Whatever folder in one of your content directories before applying them to the model, or reapply the textures from their new location if they have already been applied.
