Who can help me?
I can't find tutor how to install content manually, from .zip to my library?
The instructiojns are clearly given here:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/19194/downloading-and-installing-daz-studio-a-guide-and-faq/p1
For importing .zip to your content library you just need to copy them to your Daz Installaltion Manager's "download to" folder which you can see under Settings > Downloads tab. Refresh DIM and you should see your content under the "Ready to install" tab
I do it this way:
-download the zip
- unpack the zip
- put all folder under "content" in "My Library"
That is the way I do for years. ;)
Hi antondermakov,
After a two year, forced break from my computer, I'm trying to pick up DAZ again. I had to reacquaint myself with DAZ and get my head around the many changes since version 4.5.
I've been using a smart phone up until now to keep tabs on DAZ developments and also download a whole lot of stuff onto a portable hard drive over the last 2yrs. Finally I have a chance to install it all.
Unfortunately one of the things I forgot how to do was how to bulk install, manually downloaded files from the DAZ3D store.
I turned to the forums, YouTube and Google to look for an answer.
Basically the method I found involved doing a manual download of the item from the "Property Library" from the DAZ3D site, then extracting the downloaded zips eg.
IM00002151-01_blahblah.zip
into a folder and then and manually copying those files one at a time into the Library. This maybe ok for a hand full of items but with over a few hundred to do, I don't think so.
Anyhow, I remember there being a faster way I used back in the day, which involved putting all the downloads into one folder. Then using the DIM (DAZ Install Manager) somehow to choose the files I wanted and then install them, while I had a cuppa tea (:
It took me a couple of days of head scratching but I finally remembered how to do it, and thought I'd write it up for others to use as well. My searching skills are not the best, so I do apologize in advance if this turns out to be a well known way of doing this. If not then I hope its useful to others. (:

How to bulk install manually downloaded files from the DAZ store, using the DAZ Install Manager.
Do a manual download from DAZ3D "Product Library" page, on the DAZ3D site. Choose a folder where you want your newly downloaded Installs to live. Make sure it has plenty of space, as it will get really big over time. Keep in mind the folder path.
Now open up the DAZ Install Manager(DIM), tick - "Work Offline" then "Start"
When the DIM opens, in the top right hand corner you will see a round cog icon - click to open up the "Edit Configuration Settings".
Click on the second tab - "Downloads"
Just below you'll see - "Download To:" - at the opposite end you will see "..." - Click and navigate to the folder you put your downloads earlier from DAZ3D "Product Library" then "Select Folder".
Back in the DIM Click "Accept".
Now simply close the DIM and reopen it again, for the changes to take affect - Once open - tick "Work Offline" then "Start".
It should open up on the "Ready to Install" TAB, which might take a little while as it loads the list of your downloads from your Install folder.
Now you can choose all the items you want to install, although you may want to do it in small batches so you can check to see where the DIM install them and things are as you expect. Of course you may like surprises, so just choose to install everything at once by ticking the little check box next to "Products".
Hope you find this useful
