Yeah, I bought something the other day that jumped double in price WHILE the card was processing. This must be fixed. If it happens to me again, I'll have to think about not buying here anymore. Shame, since I buy so much stuff here and I like the stuff here the best. Ah well...

Things like that can be told to Support and they give you your money back.

They did, but I don't exactly want it happening again... Maybe that's what it will take for them to fix it.

  • I dumped a bunch of stuff myself because of the jump in prices.

  • I can't even see what's new today.

All the today new items are black+gray circle :-(

A workaround to this is to see how much the stuff you want to buy costs, then buy a giftcard for that exact amount, and pay for the products using store credit. That way you can't be overcharged. I think... :D

I only had two items.  First, DM's Grand Hall.  The discount was 80-some percent, because I bought new items for all 3 days of the Holiday Buildup sale and it's supposed to be 75% off.  I also had 1stBastion's Knights Academy, and was also getting 80-some (83?) off.  Discount is only 60-something percent now.

Knight's Academy should be 60% off with a new release from yesterday, then up to another 15% off (which would be 66% off in total).

I think most shoppers expect it to be 60% off + 15% off= 75% off. But it's not. But it is? It shouldn't be so confusing. We're artists, not mathematicians, LOL. Please don't make us do math! Might start some involuntary eye twitches!

So now my cart is $110 more than it originally was and seems to be sticking there for over 24 hours. I find this very frustrating and will be dumping 95% of my cart and just purchasing a few RDNA items and deleting everything else. I'll probably return the trigger items I purchased the last few days too because they won't make a dent now. I find this really annoying because I spent a good 3 hours loading my cart...

And now I just did the math and I'm not getting the extra 10% off for buying debut items for 2 of the build up days or getting 40% off for more than two new items and I don't know now if I should dump my cart and just call this sale a wash or wait to see if the prices go back down. I think at first there was extra stacking that was removed too which made me want to purchase more and now all those items are going back in my wishlist unless this is cleared up. Very disappointed with this sale.

The math is confusing. The changes in prices made me rethink my purchases, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I wish I could've gotten everything for the original discount. Instead, many of those things went back on the wishlist as they were out of my price point. I found some great stuff on sale today that was in my price point and made sure I bought them before anything changed again. I'm happy with what I got, but would've loved to have gotten my original choices. I guess striking while the iron is hot (or "the ebul maths" kick in!) is important around here, LOL

I'm not going to buy anything until it's fixed and if not, return purchases from last few days. I bought those things just to get the extra percentage off and now I'm not getting it, so there is no point to this sale...

  • I had the opposite happen just a few minutes ago, I put a few items in my cart and got a massive, unexpected discount, something like 75% - 80% off, all items from the same vendor, no new releases, etc.  Going to be watching things closely, make sure the final price doesn't jump on me.

I bought a few things I did like but don't need now and could have waited on for a bigger discount.  Friday's purchase was totally for the discount, expecting a big Black Friday event.  blush

I'm thinking about just returning it all and passing on all of it.

The extra (in my case 10%) is applying for me - are you sure it's not applying for you?

The 75% base is still not working.

Is that how math works???  It appears to be 60%, then 15% off the remainder?  So if you had $100, 60% off you're at $40, then 15% of that is $6, leaving you with $34 - or as you simplified 66% off of the original $100.

75% off + additional 15% should be 78.75% off the total?

I get it's the holiday weekend.  Will it get fixed by the end of the weekend?  Or do we buy and contact support for a refund?

Which 75%? I saw only a 60% off featured PA stores on the promo page.

I think the conditions got changed.  Initially I'm pretty sure you didn't have to buy anything else for the 75% discount on DM's Grand Hall.  That was the only item in my cart and it was like 80% percent off.  I see the disclaimer now you need some other new item to get 75%.

  • I added the DM set to my cart on the day it appeared and didn't see the full discount until I added another new item, so I think that is the way it has been for a while.

Well, new strategy... Dumped everything that jumped in price except some of the RDNA things and started over with new products with higher discounts. I didn't really need those original things and can wait to see if they ever go back to the original discount. The RDNA things were somehow 50% or so lower too before, but Im keeping most because they are already at the highest discount, and I guess there was originally a glitch in my favor. But with all I have in my cart (22), I would have saved about $10 if I bought them before the price increase. The other stuff had gone up by $100!

That's pretty much what I ended up doing. I actually found better discounts on newer Arki items from this year (Eagle Armor, Calla stuff), so the RDNA things went back on the wishlist to wait for better sale prices. The RDNA items are great, but they are quite old, so there's really no hurry. I'm patient (sometimes!)
