Sporty Ponytail Hair

I have a question about one of the debut new releases: Sporty Ponytail Hair and OOT Hairblending 2.0 for Genesis 3 Female(s), how long can the braid-tail be? as I understand it can't be made superlong like the ponytail-tail, but in the morphs it's listed: 

  • BraidTail-Length
  • BraidTail-Size.
    Ever since I begun using Daz earlier this year I have been searching for a long single braid for making classic Lara Croft fanart,  I have all Ali/Mankahoo's long braidstyles and another one for v4 from Daz, but I would like a new "highpoly" braid that's easy to pose. I don't understand why the braid-tail can't be made superlong like the other tail, surely there must be many uses for a long braid other that Lara Croft, like for fantasy characters. I would gladly pay extra for an longbraid expansion of the sporty Ponytail hair.

    Ok, from left to right: Shortest, default & longest.  The two dials I used to get it super short and super long was "LongTail-Length" and "LongTail-Size"

    My bad, wrong one.

     

    The braid goes as far down as an inch above her butt

     

    However it will not look like classic LC pony tail.  The mojority of the morphs are for the tail, not the braid

    Thanks for taking the time to help me out and make the render, if you could make a quick pick of the braid made the longest and perhaps at the middle of her back it would be awesome. I will buy it if I think it looks ok as a Lara braid, but otherwise I allready have two long ponytail hairs.

    Thanks for the renders, that's so kind of you! :) It helps me out a lot to decide if I should get the hair or not. It looks ok, but as you said it doesn't looks like classic Lara's braid, it's a looser kind of braid when posed long. I hope that someone will make a long braid hair, one that can be posed to  just over her butt at the longest and perhaps to the upperback at the shortest, a tight braid at every length. There are some braid hairs here at Daz, but most are older hairs and most of them are more fantasy then Tomb Raider sporty. The bangs is important too, ideally two loose strands at each side of her face or a little more centered.

    I was eyeing this product for the same reason. Thanks, Mattymanx for the renders. :-)

    Oh, wow... That goes a lot shorter than the promotional images showed - which makes it a lot mroe relevant for my needs.

    Was that short length attained by turning parameters off or is that simply the minimum length?

    To get the shortest and longest, one dial went 100% and the other -100% with limits on.

    I had this hair working great with daz studio 4.9, but when i switched to the latest daz studio 4.9.3.128 beta version i started getting weird results, the hair turns to be white, even if i choose other colors, check the images, the one rendered great and the other with weird results with white hair on the daz beta version, any clues about what can be causing this?

    I was getting this because I have not upgraded to 4.9.  Try changing the base color effect to scatter only

    Thanks for the tip, i tried that but unfortunately it didn't worked out :(  any other clue what may be causing this?

    ...finally a ponytail that doesn't distort when pushed to extreme length.  This is perfect and what I have been wanting for my namesake character for a long time however broke right now because of the PC+ Anniversary sale.
