Tips on posing the G3 facial rig

I know how to see it, by turning on hidden nodes and showing bones. Are there any guidelines for working with it that might help reduce the time spent what-have-i-wroughting?

    I would start with the included base pose controls for the face and then tweak from there.

    And how would you tweak? Do you drag the nodes around with active pose or use the rotation dials or...?

    Expressions are the hardest so when you get one that you think that one is good and convincing save it!
