E.G. Can I install right away the latest public beta of DS without having a general release installed?

Yes, just install DIM and don't forget to install PostgreSQL CMS.

PostgreSQL CMS ??? How do I get it? It is displayed as inactive.

In DIM or in the Product Library? In the Product Library that just means it doesn't have a store page, which it doesn't.
