Sales Banner - discount on character I own already (again)

Heya.

I got a new sales banner at the top of the page today, again. Unfortunately, again, it's offering me a discount on a product I already own, which is pretty sad. :(
Then there is one DAZ character I really would love to get and where I missed the two sales where I would have gotten a discount. If I could get a discount for that character (Sunny), that would actually be a good offer. ;)

If somehow possible, please don't make me more offers for things I do own already, it feels depressing, really. ;)

They are putting up a lot of different character for the banner during the PC sale, so there is a good chance the one you want will come up.

I've been getting the same thing, but only because I've owned all the figures they've offered....lol. One of the pitfalls of being an early adopter. I'm not complaining. I got a TON of awesome offers the last couple of months :).

Sunday's only two months old, so there's little chance that they'll be using her as a special sale item in the near future.  I'm hoping that they get as far as Isabella this time around, as she's the oldest G3F character I don't t already own, but I' m not going to hold my breath...

Yeah, I happens a lot, but I don't really mind it as most of the figures I got during great sales as well.  I could see someone just getting into Daz really making out like a bandit with some of these sales though which is a good thing.

I'm just hoping we get at least some of the later (or male) female G3F characters on the promotions.  All the early G3F I already own.  But I only own a few of the G3M.

And things like this are why 'male' characters "sell less" than the female.  They put out the females first, and put them on specials first as well.

I own MOST of the G3 Daz Characters.  Mostly Pro Bundles, I might add.  Would be nice if one or two of the ones I _don't_ own got put up on the sales banners, but I'm not holding my breath....

(for the curious, the ones I don't own:  Gia 7, Rune 7, Sunny 7, Gianni 7, and Ivan 7)

It would have been nice to get a male for the folks that need them - I already have all of them I think ;). I have enough women to do for awhile (until Monique 7) except maybe Rune 7 if she went up for 5 bucks. Josie is too much like Izabella, which I've got, so no interest :).

I've owned all but one of the characters.

To me it seems like those that bought early, get penalised.

Eh, I've hardly been able to take real advantage of the PC sale categories... because I already own most of it.  Seriously, some of the categories (such as the Dream House) have been empty for me with "hide items I own" checked.

But hey, I've also had plenty of time to play with most of it. :)  So it doesn't bother me much, if at all.  I have it, now others can get it, and at a bargain too.  I see that as a good thing.

That and it saves me money.  Can't spend it buying stuff I already have. :)

No, the fact is that male characters sell less no matter what.  Look at the male to female ratio in the renders out there and the proportions are ridiculously skewed... That said, I think it's fair to say that male figures and items might sell a little better if they were to receve the same level of promotional push that the female items get, but the history of art in general has long favored the female form over the male, while the number of clothing items the the typical male owns is usually much smaller and less diverse than that owned by the typical female. At least with G3 we've finally started getting a litle more diversity in the lineup and a lot of outfit types that haven't been produced since Michael 4 are getting new versions.

I rather get sales offers for things I already have, than missing out on sales offers for things I don't have. When they started with these offers, some that were elegible for them didn't get them. I was one of them, so I'm glad to see that the offers work now, even though I already have the character offered.
