That is EXACTLY what I was doing.
I was "positive" the items in the category were there before. But going back and checking, I see Karen wasn't one of the $5 gals before. Maybe some of the products in the category are repeats? I don't know. All I do know is I stand corrected. And I'm happy to be wrong! (Could it be Izabella is next? Fingers crossed.)
It was Eva, Bethany, Arabella, Girl, Karen ..I think. However I was looking at some of the items and the Faces of and Iray reshaders seem to be for both her and Eva / Bethany in some cases, so perhaps it was those items doubling up?
Just a heads up, guys. Today's "Extra 20% Off Featured Daz Originals" with a Debut or Still New release is stacking nicely with some of the items in the "Friends of Karen" sale.
There's a bunch of Render Studio IDL modules on sale right now. Anyone have any experience with these when they were at RDNA? Do they work well in DAZ Studio?
Would prefer Mei Lin; not sure if I'd go for Izabella or not. I bought and returned ( the pro bundle) as didn't think it was worth the cash - certainly not from my pov. but pick some of the items up cheap, yeh I might go for that. :)
Having a "Debut New Release" is supposed to take another 10% off the rest of the order, isn't it? I can't get that part to work.
excluding new releases, and Fast Grabs I think.
I've got a full BYOB, some New Releases, some RDNA, some Modern, and some featured artist. Adding a Debut New isn't changing any of them.
If you remove all the Debut and Still New items, does adding the Debut item change the rest?
Did some testing. Took the Debut New (Oberon Station) and the Still New (DG Iray Deco Wood Shaders) out and tried them separately. Adding either one individually or together gave the same results.
How about if the separate the BYOB stuff?
Ok, took the BYOB things out and ran the same tests. Same results - no difference between Debut New and Still New. It's still a heavy discount either way, I'm just trying to get things right.
Are you saying that Debut and Still New both give the 10% discount on other items, or that neither do?
Ok, minimum testings:
1 RDNA item
1 Modern item
1 Featured Artist item
Starts as 79% off ($4), 52% off, and 84% off.
Adding Debut New, Still New, or both puts that at 86% off ($2.7), 64% off, and 88% off.
Ah-ha! The new items do reduce each-other by a bit though.
So, the notes for the first box in the promotion are not valid. They say "‡ Excludes PC+ Anniversary Sale Debut & Still New Releases." But instead it does in fact apply to itself.
Based on the RDNA item, it looks like the 10% off is indeed applying (any New makes it $3, then 10% off that makes $2.7) but the 10% doesn't care if it's Debut New or Still New. So, looks like the discount was as good as it should have been to begin with, but the 10% discount was being hidden by the triggered discounts; and it doesn't distinguish between Debut and New.
Time to put everything back in and spend big!
From the banner, it looks like only if you buy two or more of them together.

The '10% off your order' applies with only one debut/new-release to the rest of your order
The extra 10% off on Featured Artist Catalogs with the Anagenessis 2 seems tricky... and also a relatively COSTLY option since you cannot stack GC on that (as you would be buying a GC in the same order)...
If you are buying the Anagenessis, it is STILL better to get the 19% on GC and then use that GC to pay for the Featured Artist Calalog items (along with another debut item) so that you can claim that extra 19% on those items instead of the extra 10% off with Anagenessis while buying everything in the same order.
Here' the maths for calculating the discount on FAC items:
FAC items + Anagenessis + GC = (50+20)% (regular PC price) + 10% off (debut) + 10% off (Anagenessis) = 67.6 % off on FAC items
On the other hand:
Anagenessis + GC = 19% off GC
FAC items + any one debut = (50+20)% (regular PC price) + 10% off (debut) + 19% off using the earlier GC = 70.84 % off on FAC items
Anagenessis is an interesting offer item as it is alone offering BOTH debut's 10% off in addition to its own 10% off additional benefit.
This is one of those tricky sales offer where they offer you a GC with discount but makes it difficult to decide if you want the GC to stack with other discounts (since both discounts offers are tied to the same item - Anagenessis).
P.S.: For FAC items which are DOs add another 40% off in both cases.
I don't know why, but a lot of "Friends of Michael 7" seem to very girly. Like a bunch of Aiko 7 characters and clothing, Olympia 7 HD Add-on, some Olympia characters. There is also a character for Lee 7 in the bunch.
Probably a glitch, but you know, check it out. Might have something you've been wanting for some time.

LOL... Boy did you call it. Today is Friends of Aiko 7 and Olympia 7. Mostly the same G3F products that were friends of Mike yesterday, except Mike/G3M products are nowhere to be seen! So the real question is, did Mike skidaddle before, or is he on the run because Vicky caught him fooling around with Aiko and Olympia?
