Tinkerbell Hair Base Colour Issue

...just picked up Tinkerbell Hair in the Friends of G7 category, and a while the style is perfect for some of my fey characters, I ran into one small issue.

When I apply the Iray" Platinum" colour it comes out looking light brown after rendering rather than white as indicated in by thumbnail. My lights are set to a temp of 6500 (white) so that shouldn't be causing it.  I tried using the ":Stark White" setting in UHT2, but that only turned it grey instead of white. The tone map settings I am using are fine as I originally used the K4 Bun Hair and UHT2 to turn it white, and that renders "white".

For me, it's the translucency color making it non-platinum.  I applied the TInkerbell Platinum Iray MAT and changed that translucency value on all surfaces to something more white (I have it at 0.8, 08, 0.8 normally for that color), and it looks fine to me in Iray.

...hmmm, I just changed that and it still looks grey rather than white.

Not sure if it's using any of the 'volume' parts of the shader, if it is, probably shouldn't be...so making sure Thin Wall is ON may halp.

...I ended up going with UHT2 again, made some minor adjustments, including using one level of lightness, and I got the quality I was looking for.
