Notice in the linked product page the Required product information.
I have seen similar "required products" mentioned many times.
As I recall, buying the Predatron "Generals"

The required products are not included at comparible prices as the sales items. I did buy the elite-human-surface-expansion-pack, but I still don't know anything about it...(except it was required). My understanding is you need the required products to make the content you want to work.I wonder sometimes if the required products is a bit of a stretch. If the price is right I may buy the sale item... and sometimes put the required items in wishlist.
I wonder, if everthing is required when there are more than one required items. Looks to me Daz3d should allow one required item only, and not allow these tiered product requirements. I suspect the reason for so many required products is the initial content release is more easily updated or something.

These are by two different artists and the marrakesh-souks-2012 is always at full price. Therefore, the required dependency makes the content item too expensive. When PA create these kinds of dependencies they could be inhibiting the sale of their products.
When I first started with Daz3d I screwed up and bought some of these types of items. You really have to read everything in the product descriptions or you may not get what you think you are getting. That goes for a lot more than just "required products".
IMO, I think it would serve us better...if there was only one required product at most, and maybe alternate items (not required) to producte more elaborate product items. It is not uncommon to see three or more required product items listed. I just ignore these items unless I can see that I already own the required items or most of them.
Last week I bought this new release content item and missed the required products in description. Just wasn't thinking.

I installed it in Daz3d and got more than a few messages about missing content items. It showed up a list of missing files, but it did load the bank part of the content. Then after a couple of reinstalls I found the required products which was not on sale with the item.

I started to ask for a refund as the combined price was a bit too expensive for my needs. I really liked the content so I thought I would wait abit, and fortunately it showed up at a reduced price several days later.
I look forward now for TangoAlpha (the PA) to do other things like a small courthouse, which is lacking in Daz3d products. A small town courthouse is something I would be interested to have. The building could be applicable to other small town city services, lawyers office of something along those lines where an old beautiful building is still an admirable location.

It can sometimes be difficult to tell whether you need all of the required items, or just one of them. Here are some guidelines:
1 - if the required items are different figures, you only need one. For example, if a hair lists both Victoria 4 and Michael 4, you don't need both
2 - if a clothing item lists a figure and various morph packs, that usually means the morphs are supported, but the clothing will work with just the base figure
3 - if a character lists a figure and various morphs, then you do need the morphs to get the character to look exactly as shown; however, the figure shape may be pretty close even if you're missing some of the morphs
Moyra is (mainly) a texture artist, so her sets will almost always be add-ons for something else.
If you find a set requiring different versions of the same thing - humans, or the Morphin Fantasy Dress and accessories for different figures, then it's usually one or more of each general item. Sometimes you may be able to use part of the set with only one of the kinds of add-on (a set for the MFD and accessories may well be suable as a texture set for the MFD alone, or for the accessories tweaked to fit with another dress using a different texture). If in doubt you can always post a query.
I prefer to pay attention, read carefully and not have to make queries. This posting has taken time, as do others. I am not ignoring the fact that other persons take time to make responses to questions...which I appreciate very much.
Or maybe it was the Required Products field that was missing. It regularly disappears from products just to show up again later, apparently at random. Unless they've fixed this now pretty old bug - but I don't think so as I've noticed several addon products recently where it was missing (could also be they've just forgot to add it in these cases, of course).
LOL... I didn't want to mention this, because the people responsible usually get very defensive about such things.
That was a problem of timing. The Parthenon Club was still categorised as "New", which meant it couldn't be discounted. But there was only about a week between the bank coming out and the club going off new. Fortunately that was just at the end of the PA sale, and it did manage to get into the catch-up sales at 40% off for several days.
Oh, and there is definitely a courtroom rattling around in my ideas drawer.
Well I mostly say it to make people aware of it, so they remember to check an extra time.

Just bumping this, because like "Barefoot Upto My Soul" and I are each using the Dystopian Tribunal Hall (not even a good fit). So yeah, I'll be waiting.

I think we could use some Boolean filters in required item lists, i.e., and or nor nada
We constantly see 3 or more required items. What do they mean?
Do we need all the mentioned required items, one of the items. a couple, or combination of the required items.
