Tiny Petite G3Fs?

Hi all, can anyone suggest any G3Fs shorter than Mei Lin 7 that I think is 5'7"? Somewhere like 5'4" and shorter.

I've been using the Height morph on V7, ML7 and G3f to shorten them but I am wondering if there are any 'Stephanie' sized characters out there just yet...

I have been waiting for a Stephy 7 for a while and hope that the shawties don't get, well, overlooked...

Teen Josie or Sunny, I think are both 5'4" or less.

Edit: Scratch that. Sunny is 5'9", so just Teen Josie and even she's pushing it at 5'4.7"

Growing Up, by zev0 can be mixed with just about anything.  A touch of the youth morph will shorten/make more petite just about any G3F character.

Also try and dial in a bit of the thin morph from daz or if you have shapeshift, try the figure width morph as well.

Remember with the youth morph you can neutralize any face changes if you just want a shorter more petite woman, not one that looks younger.

I am just five foot tall but I am not skinny.  Not really obese but not bone bone thin.  Is there a way to make a curvy five foot tall g3f?

Daz body morphs has a figure height adjustment morph. And if you want to adjust that further Shapeshift has individual body section height options. So these will just compress/shorten the amount of curve you already have on the figure.

According to her product page, LY Fallon is 5'6". I think she looks smaller when I render her. Wouldn't be difficult to make her shorter or more petite with a few dials: https://www.daz3d.com/ly-fallon

Illicites comes out pretty short/curvy!  I've used her in a fair number of promos.

Just out of curiosity, but wouldn't just changing the Scale of the figure work?  I've done this a few times and it looks pretty good.  Keeps everything in proportion.

Yeah, I do that sometimes and use the head propogation scale dial too.

In my opinion scaling to increase/decrease height always looks odd. The head size of a short person is similar to that of a tall one, and each body part needs to be scaled differently. Most of the height difference between short and tall people tends to be in the legs, with the difference in the trunk proportions being significantly different.

  • I believe the head size is mostly the same regardless of height. So, someone who is noticeably short may look like their head is big in proportion. At least, that makes it more believable to me when fiddling with figure scale. Adjusting chest and leg length can cause trouble with some clothing items (though, most seem fine.)

I'm 5' 2" and I've often been told when buying a hat that I've got a small head. I borrowed my husband's sunglasses once and it was just a waste of time because they kept dropping off my face every time I leaned forward. The rest of the time it's not an issue, and the size of my head just looks... normal. I don't think short people's heads are quite as big as tall people's are.

  • Thanks everyone, it souns like it's more a morph solution from what I am seeing in the replies as opposed to buying an adult character that happens to be 5'4". I can't seem to find any until a Stephy 7 equivalent comes out i guess. I will chek out LY Fallon as well...

Technically, all the characters are just morphs...some sculpted, some dial spun, some scaling...and most a combination of all the above.  The solutions here are how to 'roll your own', in absence of a ready-made one.

A character, usually is a morph + texture set sold together.

...I tend to use varying degrees of the Growing Up shape morphs along with adjusting head propagation.  Julie may be 5'4" but she is somewhat "leggy". To counter this I add a bit of the "Youth Body Shape" morph to balance out the proportions.

My shortest "adult" character is my namesake at 4'11" with a gymnast's physique. She is still G2F based (Mei Lin 6) until I can get the Face Morph resource kits that are on my wishlist and Skin Builder Pro 3 comes out (she's an albino).

Attached below are G3F versions of Leela and her best friend Tracey. Leela is 5' 2" and Tracey 5' 1" (I have a height scale prop I use).

Right, which is what I have been doing up to this point but wondering if there were characters for sale because it would be cool to start from a petite character not just a 'young' looking child to make morphs but it pretty much confirms from the answers that there aren't many petite women characters right off the bat like a Stephy model so it looks like I will have to continue with my various workarounds until she comes out.

I have an albino character I made using Brooklyn HD skin texture and a blond shader for the eyelashes. So, when you switch to G3F, you may want to try her out. And this will give you a close approximation of Mei Lin 6 on G3F.

...Steph 4 was one of my favourites as she loaded in at something like 5' 4" or so.  Her physique was more reasonable as well. She filled a nice gap from the mid teens (as there was no Gen4 teen figure), to adult and the NPM breast morphs gave more range in being able to adjust breast sizes.

The Gen5 version of her seemed to lose the "petite" element as it had three shapes, the Base - which was small in stature but more stocky than the Gen4 version, Curvy - which was a bit taller and more voluptuous like a "pinup" girl, and Fashion Model - which was taller and more"leggy".

Steph 6 had  a slightly a more lithe physique, especially with the Slender Steph morph add on. However, she also had competition from Gieslle 6 which while a fey based figure, worked pretty well for a slender more petite character with the proper morphing..

    As to a Gen7 version, it's anybody's guess.

This is Kayo character from Skyler's Friends by AliveSheCried from Renderosity. I have applied materials from Kathy for Genesis 3 Female(s)

    http://www.daz3d.com/kathy-for-genesis-3-female-s

and dialled up Pear Figure to 100%, because she was very skinny otherwise. She is under 5' 4" ( I have put cylinder with that height on the second render).

    Total agreement-

S4, S5 Curvy/Base and S6 all have their uses to fill in my petite characters that don't look like children. I am just hoping for an S7 at some point. Hopefully soon.

Both "sides" of the question are right. Different parts of the body scale differently. Heads, hands, feet, and upper torso, inter alia, tend to hold their size more consistently across the scale spectrum than other parts do, but it's not a hard rule or anything. There are lots of little tweaks that can make or break the impression of scale. E.g., the neck. Shorter people tend not to have V7's swan neck.

If you have S4,S5 and S6, have you tried GenX to convert their morphs to G3?

ciara for g3f is wonderfully petite.

I don't have Izabella, as I bought for the alien texture; will see what I get trying to get the petite shape. I'll post if I like it.

I don't even have that GenX, if it can do that for G3 I will definitely look into that...
