Legacy UVs for Genesis 3: Victoria 6

Does this product work for all Genesis 2 Female textures or just textures that use the Victoria 6 UV? 

I noticed in the promo images that it shows a texture for a character for Teen Josie 6 (which I'm pretty sure does not use the V6 UV). So will this product work with other G2F textures? Or only textures made for V6 characters?

    Just Victoria 6 UVs. If you want just genesis 2 female UVs, that product as well as the V4 one is sold at the Cayman Studios store at Rendo

    Hmmm I'm wondering why the promo image shows a Teen Josie 6 character texture then? 

    Surely that texture doesn't use the Victoria 6 UV.

    Actually IIRC Josie uses V6 UVs

    Divamakeup, that texture does use V6 UVs, believe it or not!  Someone else asked about this in the Commercial thread, and so I produced an unofficial list of characters who use the V5 and V6 UVs.

    Oh gosh, that's crazy. lol 

    Thank you for the link, it's a bit eye opening and a bit ...head scratching. lol

    I really wish you'd released the products that let G3F wear G2F textures here - and the one that lets G3F wear V4 textures too. I really want those 2 products but am not a fan of that other store.

    It's reaching a point that hardly anything but the base figure itself uses the specialized UVs for that figure. After all, once you have the figure, you can switch its UVs to any set that came with any base figure that you have purchased -- or the generic G3 F or M UVs. They all show up in the surfaces tab pop-up.

    Mind you, this is not necessarily the case with earlier generations. Vendors were a lot more likely to build their skins to the UV of a specific base figure back before there were so ridiculously many of them. Which can be a nasty surprise.
