I've noticed that my orange banners always seem to show up 12-18 hours later than when I see them mentioned here in the forums. I think they must disburse the banners in 2 waves. Maybe its to measure metrics in some way?
Many of us shop within the first few hours of the new stock going up so by the time we have any idea the offer is there we've already bought the relevant items the banners are designed to compliment, making them worthless.
And since they're secret there's no way to know if we're meant to wait for an offer to appear or what the criteria might be.
Not disagreeing with your point just pointing out why their design is awful.
Geez, Bethany 7 Pro Bundle was only $23 with Debut purchase when "Friends of ..." sale appeared. I hesitated to place my order, waiting for orange banner and now it's back to $80 (_ _") even with the orange banner.
From now on, I will grab fancy stuffs when the sales show up. I can always send a ticket later if there's any prices change.
Beth 7 Pro 11 pcs, so just ~ $2 per pcs ...

Several prices seem to change each day. Sometimes Daz is correcting errors, and other times new errors suddenly appear. I have no idea which the Bethany bundle issue is. Didn't a similar thing happen with the Eva bundles a couple days ago? Didn't that issue get fixed later so that the bundles reappeared? My memory may be faulty, because I already had Eva and didn't pay close attention. Maybe the disappearance of Bethany bundles is an error that will get fixed. (fingers crossed for you)
I'd love to see Izabella in the "Friends of..." category. The Guy...? maybe for $5... he didn't appeal to me that much. Got Lee, Kimo and Karen. In fact, the only G7s I don't have at least the base for are Gia, The Girl, The Guy, Izabella, and Tween Julie. And Bethany, who I don't really want. I'd take her for free, though. I can always use the materials.
Of course, even if we already have the base figure, it would be nice to pick up some of the "supporting" products...

Can I voice a pet peeve about the DAZ website? I mean, generally I speak up and defend them when things are beyond their control, so it almost feels wrong to say anything negative... but...
It's really irritating when the sales page is still up but the sales prices are no longer valid. For example, I have a Debut item from 10/14 in my cart, along with three items from the Featured Artists catalogs. When DAZ midnight hit, the addtional discounts disappeared from the cart. But the sales page still shows the 10/14 items in the Debut category. I know it happens and it doesn't affect me today because what's in my cart was really to see what the items from the Featured Artists will cost if I find a Debut item I actually want in the next two days. However, it still bothers me that the prices and discounts can disappear at the stroke of DAZ midnight, but it can take 30 minutes or more for the new offers to start showing... Isn't there some kind of technology that can fix that?
Okay. Off the soap box. Time to refresh the page and see if the products for 10/15 are live yet...

Sometimes you may bet very-very lucky, and sometimes you may get very-very unlucky. The latter happens a lot more often.

I jump in frequently at Daz Midnight to see what the sales are going to be. Unless there is some incredible FREE thing that is actually working... I generally don't buy until the next morning.
I find sleeping on it is a good strategy - unless the deal seems too good to be true, in which case, I assume it is and buy while I can, if I can! :)
I tend to put off making purchases until the end of the day, to give myself as much time to change my mind, lol. That's been a bad practice lately, missing out on certain sales due to shop being down, etc but usually it works well enough.
Just almost cleared out the Edwardian Category Sale (just left 3 more boring texture packs)!

An FYI that I posted in my product showcase thread over in the Art Studio, about a couple products that just went off of new status and are now in one of the featured artist stores. (and did the math about the bundle.) Just in case you're interested in the Supersuit and Guardian Bundle. Also, if you're not aware of the thread, there's renders of some of the products in the stores, and I focused on stores that have been participating. The latest ones were Tesla, Walinga, PandyGirl, and Polish.
So a couple days ago, I added a gift card to my order. Got 10% off because I had a Debut item in my cart. Not bad, but 10% is still better than nothing.
Today, however, you can get 19% off if you add a second Debut item to your cart. Not bad at all. Of course, I don't have the money to buy another GC, as I put it all into the GC I bought two days ago.
But maybe some of you can take advantage? It's a pretty good deal... And if you haven't already bought them, Beauty for Belle is only $1.79 and Quiet reflections for Genesis 3 is only $2.39... So only $4.18 to save $19 per hundred on a GC today.
Now I'm going to go quietly into the corner and sniffle...
I finally took advantage; I never bother with as low as 12%, even if no other purchase required.

It seems like the same Fast Grab items have been up for over a week now. Did someone fall asleep at the switch?
It's pretty typical during the three major sales events: March Madness, PA Festival, and PC Anniversary sale. I started here a little over two years ago, at the tail end of the PA Festival, and there were two items in Fast Grab. They didn't start changing out until after the PC Anniversary sale. If memory serves, they actually didn't change until after the new site design was up.
Is anyone able to order at present? When I go to checkout and click on either PayPal or Credit Card, the "Processing" thingy appears for a short moment, disappears and nothing else happens. I've tried two different browsers, but it looks as if the website is buggered again.
Is it working for you now?
