Argh.  Love the figure.  Don't like the bundles.  Like the character sets.  Don't like the clothes. Lilith 6 so perfectly hit that domnatrix/succubus vibe and 7... just doesn't.

She looks ... younger and skinnier. And gothier.

(EDIT: Actually, the promo image on her page looks younger and skinnier and gothier. When you look at the main promo image on her own page, she doesn't look like that at all. Actually, she looks kind of like Rune's very slightly more voluptuous and somewhat less muscular older sister.)

According to the published Measure Metrics data, she's the same height as Lilith 6 and a very tiny bit smaller in bust, waist and low hip. Like, 0.4 inches smaller. (That said, until I actually have her in hand -- which I may not do -- I won't believe the measure metrics. They were off on a couple of earlier models.)

Lilith looks fine, and I like the look of Shiloh. Gone Girl -- apart from a name that I'm looking at with all the side-eye in the world -- kind of works. I have a few things that are about the same as Katherine hair, I think. And at the moment, most of the rest of the items are the Swirlies of Doom, so who knows what they might be?

I think it's super cool that they actually put in the mix shots themselves.

That's more due to the way they're dressing her, I think.  In the main promo illustration with L7 in the gold, she looks fantastic, very Frazetta-esque with a great jawline.  And then the bundles have her in mall-goth outfits from Hot Topic.

I think she looks great. The detailing in her knees alone are awesome.

What is up with her arms in one of the promo images though? She looks like she might be becoming a werewolf. lol

What product is that? It would be awesome to add arm hair to my characters (dialed WAY back from that though lol).

Yeah, I love the figure.  The arm hair is most likely Exnem's Body Hair for G3F from Rendo, I believe.  It's a great set that gives you a number of body hair options, although I've never been crazy about the shaders that come with it and it inexplicably stops at the neck.

Ah, thank you! :D I have yet to buy from Rendo. But I think I might have to start. lol :)

Is it just me or does Agnes look like a slightly older woman?

It's not just you.  Lilith's physique and facial structure are that of a more mature woman and Agnes capitalizes on them nicely.  I get a slightly older vibe from Shiloh as well, but the ethnic feel makes it less obvious.

But why on earth would the main promo for a new DAZ 'base' figure use a body hair shader from another store??? I never even noticed that hair on her arm till Divamakeup pointed it out.

I was wondering this too. Seems ... poorly planned. (Also why does Daz not offer products like this)

Ha. Not only is she part-werewolf, but she also has the ability to grow grass from her feet..... *snort*

A lot of the promo illustrations use items from the other stores.  I find it more unusual that the main promo illustration doesn't use anything that's actually in either of the bundles except for Lilith herself.

Yes, i do see other store stuff in promos but mainly in PA owned products, not DAZ Originals or promos done in-house for iconic base figures. That's why I considered it very strange that a promo for a DO base figure would have a 'shader' from somewhere else when it's promoting a new base figure, if you get what I mean.

Well, there is ThePhilosopher's Peach Fuzz for G3F, which covers the areas that Exnem's product misses.  DAZ could have a similar full body product coming, but this sure looks like Exnem's body hair to me.  And boy, that sounded strange...

The Cage Dress is totally unrealistic and useless. Real crinolines don't end on the floor. They end a little above the shoes. So many dollars for a useless outfit.

Exnem will be delighted that you are so observant as to the details of their body hair~

I thought the Peach Fuzz was great when it arrived. Just seems odd that considering how much people seem to like these kinds of products, they're usually from other stores, and when they do arrive here it's with a minimal amount of fuss. Regardless it's odd to be using other shops' stuff in your main original promos.

Alsooo Lady Littlefox's Jade Tiger hair seems to suit Lilith pretty well from that promo image.

I thought the cage dress was at least interesting for a stylistic thing. Bit one use, but still.

I love the cage dress laugh It's unusual and weird and I like that and need more of it. Reminds me of that dress OOT did for V4 a while back that I can't remember the name of.....rococco or something like that. I don't think it's meant to be realistic tho.

I suspect it could be a DAZ thing, as the Exnem set includes multiple pubic hair options.  Oskarson's made several of those for other sites as well, but never DAZ.

She looks nice, but she does not look unique enough at all to me, or even Lilith like. Unique is what I look for in a base model. She doesn't look so different from any number of Victoria based characters I've seen, and those are much cheaper and don't require a special UV.

    Pass.

And the way these figures are turning out, Belle 7 will be another Tan Teen Victoria with Hyper Duck Face Syndrome. And if that is the case, I'm going to cry. Belle's fair skin was unlike any other. It was....unique.

I had so much expectations for lilith 7 and now....don't get me wrong, she looks nice, but I wanted her to look amazing. My main concern is the lack of personality. When I see L6, (one of my fav), I immediatly identify her, the goth vibe is strong. For L7, this vibe is far less important, like it is polished out. That is unfortunate because at the moment we already have tons and tons of G3 females.

My second concern is the pro bundle. here too, lack of vibe. almost only normal dresses and hairs. We are in october, the heloween month guys! Fantasy and (pseudo) horror should rise!

I'm loking at the bundle, it looks nice but at the end of the day I'm really disapointed. I'll probably pass

"Polished out" seems to be the summary of many of the fifteen billion Genesis 3 figures / sets. (Almost) nothing ever looks bad, most of it just looks... generic? The same? I'm not sure how I'd describe it.

I wonder if it's to do with complaints of too much skimpiness and not enough useful everyday items. If so, this isn't the way to go about it. Making every figure and costume try to appeal to every demographic just washes everything out. People want lots of different choices, not the same few shades pretending to be every colour over and over again.

Or maybe it's super popular and everyone loves it more than ever. I dunno. That's not the impression I get.

The more I look at that promo, the more I think those cords are by Fabi from Rendo....and the more I don't understand why an obvious "artistic" promo isn't labeled as such, and became the main promo for the figure. I'm still scratching my head.

The cords around her waist, and the ones around her neck with the pendant and her arms I believe are by Fabiana at rendo, but I can't recall the name of them!

oh wait! They're the deco strings by Fabi here at the daz store!
