I do this too, but nine times out of ten I end up not buy anything. lol

do the ketchup days bring back the megagrabs?

was a load of whittled out til next paycheqk >.<

  • The winnowing process is very painful and it just grows my wishlist.  Then, when there are deep sales on the eishlist items, I end up buying those things and then some AFTER going through the winnowing process once again and further growing the wishlist.  *sigh*

  • I wish there was a "holding pen" area over in the checkout area that we could move products to and from but without having to leave the checkout page. Often I find myself moving items out of the checklist just to put them back in later after removing something else. A holding pen zone would be nice because then I wouldnt have to find everything over again should I inevitably change my mind about which products to purchase.

    Tell me about it.

Generally I look back over it and take out items that don't have any discounts,  but most times  those items are only in there because they are needed for a render I really am excited about doing at that particular moment.   Next come items that I have no immediate need for, but are just cool things I think I might do something with. Next are the items for a scene I have in my head but that requrire other items for the scene.   Last,  I look at items that can't be used immediately because they require additional add-ons that aren't on sale as well (unless the discount is really too good to be true).

If all else fails I simply give myself a priceline, and everything is good up until that point.

Who knew a pasttime that was supposed to be relaxing could end up being so stressful ! frown

At least the good thing about the PA sale is that we all know that there's going to be at least one more "encore" sale, which will almost certainly extend into October.  There have been a few new items that I've really wanted in the last week that I intend to catch up on then, but between the PA sale, the Prime sales at Rendo and Most Digitals 50% off sale, I've already gone past my September CG budget.

Yeah.  There are a few things that I want but figured I would wait till the catch up sale so that I could pad the budget with my next paycheck before buying

I wish there were checkboxes in the cart and an option to "Delete all selected items"!
This has been suggested before, but I guess Daz thinks we'll buy more if deleting items is too time-consuming.
Personally, I find the "Empty Cart" option to be more attractive in that case...

This is the craziest thing I've heard.

Anyway, it's actually pretty easy even as it is at the moment. If you have a...using a trumpism here...yuge cart, and want to shed a bunch of items, scroll down and "Command Click" the links (probably control click on windows?) so that the updated cart pages open in new tabs. Then, on the last one, you just do a regular click and close all of the many other tabs that remain open. And, for those who, like me, play around with items adding and removing, you can leave those tabs open and refresh the tab after you've deleted it from the cart. The refreshed tab will now be ready to be added once again.

I've done that, but when you have 50+ items in your cart checkboxes would be much easier. Not to mention the effect of so many tabs open on your browser, depending on your system.

And just what is "the craziest thing" you've ever heard? And just why do you call it crazy?

Don't toss George! He's fantastic. Who needs another dress anyway...

The 'Clear Shopping Cart' is very useful. :)

Which gets used when an item turns out to be DRMed, or prices suddenly change.

But it can be fun too, currently looking at two items - I've no credit left, but they are rarely on sale, and both are in my wish list; so actually, even though no credit, these two may get bought.

I agree. Even if you don't use him full outright you won't regret having him in your G3 gene pool.

I need to cut my cart too and one of the more expensive things I'm thinking of tossing is SimTenero's Zone Smoother.
