Does "Send in the Clones" work in Studio 4.9?

Send in the Clones by DraagonStorm is in today's fastgrab at a nice price but the product page only says it is for DS2 and DS3. This might just mean that the product page hasn't been updated since DS3. Has anyone tried this in 4.9?

That's interesting. I've always thought LAMH was a hair creation product. It can do instancing of props as well?
Yes. And randomization as well. Multiple props, rotations, etc. Use Density maps to control placement.

I've actually got Ultrascatter so I didn't really need Send in the Clones as well but since it was cheap I was thought it might be interesting to look a different way of doing it.
Ultrascatter looks very powerful. I haven't actually used it yet (I keep buying so much stuff I get behind in using it). I must have a go at it soon, and I did pick up a nice set of low res plants cheap in the sale that should be useful for scattering.
The one advantage of clones over instances is the ability to pose them differently.
That said, instances are often better if you need lots.
