Anime Boys

I really, really hope a masculine version of Star comes out, and when it does it embodies the same aesthetic. Until then, my attempts to make anime boys require a lot of fiddling with every toon male I can get my hands on because as far as I can tell very few modelers at Daz have any idea of what a proper anime boy is supposed to look like. Kenji (well, Sasori) is gorgeous but he's a Final Fantasy boy, not the kind of anime boy I'm hoping for. A few of the older Hiros come close but even there the proportions are all wrong.
To be clear, I'm not looking for figures that match popular anime targeted at little boys. Teenage boys or teenage girl stuff. I've seen okay DBZ and Naruto stuff here, and that's okay, but it's not going to work well for people who are looking to make differently targeted stories. Something like Ichigo from Bleach is something I'd like to see available as a model. That's an anime style that shows up in lots of both shoujo and shonen stories, where the body is just as stylized as the face. Ridiculously long legs, relatively narrow chest, pointy-faced head. That's what I'm hoping to see.

Someone has a male morph for the original Star over on ShareCG. I don't remember whether it was for the Poser pr the Studio version though. I *think* it was for the Studio version.
Akatora has one called Maybe. Older but I think it is the best Bishounen character.
He has very little clothing so other clothing has to be adapted to him. Also he is free.
I think Lady Littlefox said that RedSpark usually does the male companions for her toons (e.g. Chip), but she didn't know if he had time to work on a male companion for Star 2.0. Maybe you can contact him and ask if something's in the pipeline or at least let him know there is some need for it. Though not sure if he is active in the forums here or at RDNA, so facebook might be a better choice: https://www.facebook.com/Redsparks-Creations-179902052061145/
Good idea, thanks for the pointer to RedSpark.
That 'Maybe' is definitely on the right track. I'll have to see what's involved with actually customizing him.
