Flipmode - content pack
http://www.daz3d.com/prison-yard
Is this content pack... an actual fenced prison yard with buldings, or just what you see in the scene images on product page.
This appears to be preset 2d scenes with some props and domes.
Other Flipmode content in the mega sale appears to include rooms and the ability to create your own scenes.
I can work with building facades, with a front and two sides similar to Stonemason Urban Future.
Since I am doing animated video it is necessary to set up scenes, cameras and lighting based on the script.
A few props placed in front of 2d type scenes for creating some feel of 3d will not work

Without doing a qucik render to show ... it predates Iray by quite a way, but comes with light sets (for 3Delight) (Day, Night, Sunset and Spots), various props (including two rain props - one heavy, one soft; both are 'cuboids' of rain of a size that just overlaps the basic DS grid), 3 skydomes to match the main lighting options, and 3 sets of UE lights. Theer are also two scenes, one dry and one wet (for use with the rain, etc.).
All in all I'd say it was a decent set and i was quite happy to pay the asking price when I got it a few years back.
I appreciate your response.. I am doing animated video. Is this setup like Stonemason builds sets?

The clay images probably explain best.
Check out the image clips in the Urban future..
I realize the price fo Urban Future is for for high quality work.
I need visuals that appear to be 3d. There are no backsides to the Urban Future buildings. Just appearance of 3d.
Yet, characters, props. cameras, lighting and other atmospher conditions are facilitated very well.
Knocked off two quick renders, using the UE2 day and wet scene (I removed the rain as that has a huge impact on render time!)

I want to thank you very much for going to the trouble of making the renders. I can definitely use this content from what I can see.
Thanks for your interest in the product lenwilder -I hope it can deliver what you are looking for-, and thanks a lot SimonJM for helping !
Not much to add actually ;)
A pleasure to assist.
