How tall are the base models?

I mean, like rough estimate here. Like, how many feet + inches tall would you say the genesis 2 base male and female models are?

You can use Measure Metrics to calcuate a character's height if you have that.
Failing that, you can create a primative and then slowly move it up along the Y axis until it is on top of the figure's head. Daz Studio's default unit of measurement is 1 cm.
...
Of course, since I have Measure Metrics...
Both Genesis 2 F and Genesis 2 M default to 70.6" with no morphs applied.
I thought the "height" of most of the figures anyway, was on the product page? At least for the G3's anyway.
Edit: Crud, nothing on the G2 product pages. :(

default Genesis 3 Female is 5 feet 10 inches. other characters vary in size.
Whilst all the G3F seem taller than in real life, it is easy to adjust.
All I know is the Daz male is 300% closer to the average human male height/propotion than the Daz female to human females.
And then one day I loaded V4 into the DS viewport (I'm a post-Genesis gen user)
OMG, Amazon. With tiny head too. lol
Found a useful pic at http://tom2099.deviantart.com/art/Height-comparison-DAZ-original-figures-pt-1-518372013
And I kinda recall V4 being a 6 footer. Can go from there...
Thanks for the link it led me to the actual measuring tool at DA.
Yeah, Vicky 4 is TALL. :P The one thing I don't really like about the G3 figures is how close V7 is to M7 in height. When I look at some of the couples poses, she looks huge.

The same is true for my preferred figures Genesis 2.
yes certain male character morphs (Like Boris) make the G2 male
taller but there seems to be no "Neutral" height morph for the G2 male that lets me keep my custom body and face but just raise his height
In this scene from my animated film I had to push the wife down into the floor off camera to get her shorter than her husband.

My standard recipe for a better looking V4:
Full body scale to 93% or whatever gives the best height for the scene and other characters, typically 91-95%
Leg length reduce by 20%
Head size increase by 2%
There is always Slosh's Measure Wall.

Or these height measuring rulers.
The only trick to remember when using things designed for measuring in Poser 6 or later is that the scale changed. What used to be 6' in Poser's native units became 6' 8" in Poser's native units, or something like that. I don't know enough about how Poser measures things to get more specific than that.
This is most obvious with the PICK series, which was designed as 1 meter square blocks for Poser, and needs to be scaled up to 105% when used in DS, or else it looks slightly undersized for default V4/M4.
Daz Studio's native units are Centemeters, so you'll want to keep that in mind when translating things over. Depending on how the measuring device was designed, I'd check it's "feet" with DS's "centemeters" (Using the create plane and move it along the apropriate translation method. 1 inch = 2.24 centemeters, so 1 foot on the measuring stick should be 25.88 units of movement in DS.
Poser Native Unit changed from 8' to 8'6", but most cvontent creators stuck with the 8' unit, PICK being the main exception.
1 inch = 2.54 cm, 1 foot = 30.48 cm
Thanks for the correction. I'm dealing with allergy meds. :)
I can vouch for the accuracy of the rulers I posted when used in Studio.
