SC Alieta Spryte for Genesis 3 Female

Could someone who bought this character please post some renders of her where you can see her skin a bit more? Most of the promo renders of her are a bit too "artsy" and show half of her blurred out or too grainy in nearly every shot. Most of them are a bit too blurry, grainy, or shot from farther away to see much of the skin texture details. Also the hair she's wearing in all the promo images cover one of her eyes and nearly half her forehead (one can't even see the brows clearly).

I'm extremely frustrated as a customer that more care wasn't taken to give at least a couple shots of her where you can clearly see her brows and skin/body texture.

I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience to a buyer to post a render or two of her - I know that's not fair to have to ask a fellow customer to provide shots that the creator should have included. But if anyone who bought her could help out by providing a render or two of her face (not covered in hair) and a clear shot of her body without it being blurry or grainy, that would be a huge help. Thank you! :)

Agree, she looks awesome, I like SC's work, but the skin (the most important aspect) is tough to make out; I've not bought because of that. I might be persuaded, otherwise.

Same here. If I can see a couple of clear renders of her I might want to get her. As it is though, we don't really get to see enough of the product for me to make a choice on whether or not to purchase it. And that's a shame because that means that the content creator might be losing out on sales. Whole heartedly I want the PAs to be successful, more successful PAs mean more great content for us. But sometimes when they do things like not clearly showing the product (particularly when many of us are greatly interested in what the skin and body textures look like) they shoot themselves in the foot. Yes, include some artistic renders, that's awesome, but please also show us a bit more clearly what we are spending our hard earned money on. Otherwise we will likely not bother and spend it on a different product - a product that shows a bit better what we are getting for our money.

  • If you look at the bundle you'll see more promos of her: http://www.daz3d.com/alieta-spryte-bundle  Although she has the same hair, you can see her a bit better

She does not include HD morphs, so it is no so good for close ups. I've considered her for the shape, but has already spent too much recently.

Thanks, DarwinsMishap! :) I couple of those shots are better but most are still a bit blurry and grainy. And I still can't tell if she suffers from mirror-brow or not.

I'm still hopeful that someone posts some renders. :)

Set the sub division level up to 2 for rendering and it will be perfectly fine.  Also, we can always use HD morphs from other characters since they are not tied to any particular UV

  • OK, a few renders here for divamakeup.  These are straight renders, no lighting, cameras or postwork.

I agree.  Why do there have to be nothing but overly artistic images of the sale items that only show what the item will look like if it is postworked, or rendered with settings that most people do not have. There is nothing worse then spending a ton of money on something only to have it look completely different then the promo because of extra work by the promo artist.

Give a simple render of the item, which includes a complete view of the whole product from all sides with examples of any morphs, etc, that are not artistically enhanced in any way. After all you are trying to sell the item not artwork.  Daz promo images have always been bad at this, looking at the sales page reminds me of visiting Deviantart not a marketplace.

I think they should have links to artists' galleries who used the product like Rendo does, so you can see the way other people rendered the product. And show the different eye colors, lip colors, makeups, etc... in clear pics, not just full renders that often look like covers of magazines.

Looks a bit like Tera Yuki IMO

The problem with that is that other artists tend to post the same kind of artsy images and not what consumers need to see to make an informed purchase.

  • Another issue with non-artsy versus artsy promos, is that non-artsy promos tend to be bland and not show the potential of the product.  Look at the images I posted, not exactly inspiring are they?  The ideal would be a balance of technical renders, showing the features of the product, and artistic renders showing the potential uses.

Thanks nightwolf1982. I appreciate you taking the time to do those. The last shot, in particular, is helpful. Thank you. :)

Thank you, and yup I'd noticed.

Nightwolf's third image helped too; I'd likely have got if I'd seen them yesterday when the gift card sale was on (presuming I'd have found a second item as I don't buy just to reduct the cost - it costs me in the long run).

    Now, however, I'll wishlist.

I've posted before about seeing the textures; it's surprising how many folks keep saying similar, yet we still get the artsy ones. They look great, invariably very beautiful, but I'm far more interested in what I can do with the product. And for that I need information, namely: details.

Actually nightwolf - your images got me to buy the bundle rather than the promos. I could do th shap myself, but this saves a eek of two of time. Thanks again mate.

There is an image in the gallery by BlackTalonArts, it's pretty artistic but also a close up if he/she used her materials might be interesting for you http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/210706

I'm not sure that is the Alieta mats as they don't have a running mascara/liner choice.

Scaled down the hand and feet, increase the head, a few small tweeks to the shape of the eyes, stock pose. And leg length.

Agreed! I just saw a new GF3 character at the other site with a ton of artsy promos and no nude promos. A unique and promising looking character, but too much work on my end to see if it it usuable or not.

Looking at the promos pics, I think it's one of the bonus makeups in the bundle.
