  It is. This is how I know there will be a flash sale even before it is announced. :)
  
  It works great for blink sales as well, when you only have about 2 hours to see if there's anything you'd like. You get notified within minutes of the start of the sale, which gives you plenty of time. And it works just as well for the daily sales.
