How to redownload all my items?

Hi,

I need to do a fresh back up of all things that I've bought to daz.

Is there a simple way to download all? I don't care if i have to use DIM. I just want to download all again and make a fresh back up.

    I have done this a time or two- easiest way for me was using the DIM.

    I tried to find a way with DIM but I can't see how to "redownload all".

    Could you help please?

    When you open DIM, you have in the Ready to Download Tab the products that DIM will recognize that hasn't been downloaded yet. (With Studio, if content is not in the Studio Runtime, it should show up there)

    You'll see Product Updates first, and below those another section with Products.

    Next to "Products" is a box.  Select the box and it and all of the products listed under it will now show a check mark.

    At the bottom there is "Start Queue", "Clear Queue", a box and "Install after Download".  I check Install after Download and then Start Queue.  That will download and install everything as long as you're connected to the internet.

    For me, with the amount of products I've purchased since 2007 when I started using Studio, a few hours later I can have the entire selection downloaded and installed.  I generally go through manually and chose the content I want based off of what I need since most of my content is still in the DS3 Advanced runtime or the six other runtimes I have on my external. And back then I saved all of the installers in case for whatever reason I can't connect and need something.

    On Windows there is a folder on "C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D" named "InstallManager". In this folder, just rename the sub-folder "ManifestFiles" to "ManifestFiles.OLD" for example and that's all.wink

    I did it last week and I redowloaded all my 800+ items purchased @DAZ since 9 years including some RDNA.

    Oh and I was forgetting that you also need to point your download directory to a new blanked directory.

    OH, and if content shows installed in DIM then uninstall everything in the DIM system and I believe it should show up again in the Products listing.  I have uninstalled a few things and have had them show up again in the "Ready to Download" tab.  You can select all in the "Installed" tab and "Start Queue" again for the complete uninstall.

    Well, none of this really worked for me. Uninstall all? no way. just redownload. Renaming ManifestFiles didn't work also.

    What I did: delete all the files in the folder on "C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D" named "InstallManager subdirectory "download". (after backed up all of them of course! wink )

    From C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager : moved the 3 subdir to a new dir (named it OLD)

    Launch DIM.

     I UNCHECK Install after Download  (i just want to download)

    select all products (2200+ for 100GB+)

    and then Start Queue

    Well, I did not do it yet because it means more than 20h of continuous download.

    I'll do it a bit later.

    When all is done, save the Download directory, the clear all Installmanager subdir except "OLD", move back the ones in "OLD" to Installmanager. and done! cool
