Genesis 2 and Aniblocks

So, I bought a few animations/aniblocks in one of the sales, but I'm having problems with loading them.

Whever I try to add an aniblock to my Genesis 2 Female model (who has Lilith added to her), she disappears from the screen/viewport. I've even tried locking the Translate sliders in the parameters menu. But she still disappears off screen...

I'm just wondering if they (aniblocks) only work on the G2 base figures with no character, or other morphs added to the model.

what are aniblocks you working with?  Did you try a different set of aniblocks to see if you got the same results?  V4 ani blocks usually work just fine with genesis 2 characters , But you do have to add a genesis foot off set aniblock to the sub track to correct the feet.   Also some of dantanback sword works aniblocks don't work well with genesis or gensis 2 v I'm not sure why But i have always had trouble with the characters becoming distorted.   But they work great for v4

I bought the V4 belly dancing aniblock and, apart from curled back fingers and odd-shaped feet, my character will stay in place.

I've also just tried the expressions on the G2F base (with no morphs or characters), a G2F with the Lilith 6 morph and, Lilith 6 and they work fine.

It's just the G2 aniblocks that I'm having problems with:

V6/G2F High Heel Walk aniblock http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-6-genesis-2-female-s-high-heel-walk-aniblock

    V6/G2F Jogging aniblock http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-6-genesis-2-jogging-aniblock

Genesis 2 Female(s) Expression and Face aniblock http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-expressions-face-aniblocks

Genesis 2 Male(s) Expression and Face aniblock http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-expressions-face-aniblocks

It just seems to be my own model that has a problem with aniblocks.

I've had very similar issues with aniblocks and AniMate2 deciding that my character really doesn't want to start where I have positioned them, they want to be somewhere else.... very far far away! I've taken to positioning my character and then placing a keyframe for the character at that current position in KeyMate - this works most of the time at getting the character to start from where they stand - other times I have to add a subtrack in AniMate and fiddle with that and KeyMate to get the character to behave.

The expression aniblocks should just work when you place them on a subtrack for the character, I've not had a problem with them.

I keep meaning to check out MCasuals incredibly large selection of scripts that are available as there sounds like there are a lot of useful animation assist tools there, one may help with this sort of thing.

Hi devilsatdusk15  Ive tried a few time to create the issue your having with your g2 aniblocks but no luck mine are working all fine/  .Sorry no help i know.

maybe you can try loading a new character to the scene and try the same aniblock on it & see if that gives you the same issue ,  just little trouble shooting things to try

I've managed to get her to stay in one place.

I've added a couple of G2 expression blocks to her, but there are still a few "issues" (poke-through, tongue poke-through, hair moving with expression, moving arm):

The Scrubber is slightly temperamental. But it's okay.

Do you have them stacked correctly on the sub track? Remember you can't use 2 Face aniblocks at the same time stacked on top of each other. , they have to be run one after the other. like i have them or they will make  wierd faces at yea

Edit: I just noticed to I woud try parenting the hair to the head instead of fitting it to the head that should stop the hair from moving during the face movement and a lot of the  poke throughs

I only have the Lite version of aniMate 2, so I can't add sub-tracks :( I know it isn't much help, by I've got the full version on my wishlist (as well as graphMate and keyMate).

I've tried the parenting the hair instead of fitting it to the model. It works, but Lustrous Hair is a pain in the butt to pose :P

(Same scene and aniblocks, different character).
