do iray light props not show up under light tab?

i loaded up anubis and the hanging 4 lantran thing from  http://www.daz3d.com/total-iray-lighting

there no adjusting light properties?

    No, from the looks of those, those are done with emissive shaders, so the parameters you'd need to edit would be under the Surfaces tab rather than the Lights tab.

    According to the product page, there should also be 46 material presets for adjusting different light intensities.

    and has some render presets for evening. smiley

    anubis for gn1 needs tweaking for the iray.  

    would like to do justice to the nice lantern light

    Lights will show up in the surface tab which is a pain.

    ...one of the things I liked about Reality/Lux was that meshlights were listed in the lights tab. Just wish it didn't render in geologic time.

    This product is worth every penny of its full price in the time it will save you. You'll actually enjoy lighting your scenes. I highly recommend it and I also strongly recommend reading the product thread as many questions have been asked and answered and the PA is one of the most responsive I've seen in the forums, right up there with Kendall Sears (LAMH).

    If you can grab it during the PA sale, don't think twice. As many people have commented, it wouldn't be much of a shock if this product was directly incorporated into Daz Studio 5.0 (whenever that might be released). It's that useful.

    several hours of rendering.  i used the darius iray shader they gave us last christmas on minotaur
