What's This Mystery Tool and How Do I Undo It?

I clicked on something up next to the DrawStyle Options menu and it seems like something flashed across the screen that Set Exposure from Here.  And the the Iray preview got incredibly bright.  Now I can't figure out how to Undo it because I don't know I did.  (See image)  Any  ideas?

It acts like the Auto Exposure or the White Balance tool in Photoshop. It can be set to do either or both at the same time. You click on it and then click on the area of the image you want the Tone Mapping set for. To change it back go to Tone Mapping in the render pane and reset the sliders. I'm not sure but Ctrl/z might reset it too.

LOL!  I tried Ctrl-Z first.  Nada.  But now that I know what it is, I was able to tweak it and get things back the way I wanted.  And learned about a new tool in the process...  thanks!

You're not alone there. I think Richard is the only one who knows what everything does; he should write the help pages, in his copious spare time of course! :)
