Hows Millennium Dog Bundle and Iray

wondering how the Millennium dogs look in Iray renders. If you have some Iray images would you post them please.

and/or links to add-ons for the Dogs and Iray. I looked at Rendo but its hard to find anything there.

    bought Mill Puppy LE http://www.daz3d.com/millennium-puppy-le as it was only 1.99 to use as a reference and the poor thing looks like a plastic toy. :(  I wanted to buy the dogs, but if they look like that then I'll pass.

    EDITED:

    The dogs and puppy bundle is/was on sale so I got it anyway. The full version looks much better in Iray. added new image

    Amusingly, I used that exact pup as a child's toy in a render.

    Aww, the name of the pic " poor thing" makes me feel sorry for it. I love all canines. Hopefully the new set from that other place will be out soon so poor thing can have some furry friends!

    you sound like my ex wife, LOL she is a huge dog person (i am a cat person). One night on our anniversary, we were headed out to a special evening on the town, all dressed up and a boxer ran out into traffic and nearly got hit by 3 cars then ran off into a parking lot. Needless to say, she convinced be to turn around and go find it to make sure it was ok and that was that for the evening since we had to wait for it's owner to come pick him up, LOL.

    The mill dog out of the box is kinda woeful. It's really showing its age. There are rumours that AM is working on a new domestic cat and dog tho, which we are all desperately waiting for.

    However, having said that, you can make the dog look not too bad in iray. Perhaps not for close-ups tho. I have used him a few times, as well as the mill cat, in iray, using the freebie LAMH presets that Alessandro has on his site - he has a tutorial for making the LAMH hair look good in iray.  

    There's a thread here where people are talking about wanting a new cat and dog: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/102561/its-time-for-new-cat-and-dog-models/p1 that you may want to keep an eye on, as I think it was there where AM confirmed he was working on something. 

    It's up to you tho, whether you'd prefer to wait a bit longer for AM's to release, or shell out for the mill dog now. I was sure the Mill Dog was a $1.99 PC item...but it seems it's only in a bundle now and isn't that cheap, which is a shame.

    I can definitely confirm the rumours. And not only domestic cats and dogs but a large list of new animals, of several species.

    And rodents???? Do you mean i can finally retire Noggins Rat??? LOL. I often search your site to see if anyone has done a LAMH preset for that poor pitiful thing.

    Ahhh I'm not sure my budget can handle a release of photorealistic animals! That's something I've been wanting since discovering 3D art. I am really looking forward to this! :D

    SAVE, divamakeup, SAVE!!! Dig around the couch cushions, go to the carpark of the local nightclub after it closes if you must (heh heh mispent youth there), start saving the dollars, cos seriously, Alessandro's animals are worth every penny!!!! You won't regret it.

    I second that!  I'm addicted to his animals.  He does such a great job with them.  Well worth the price.

    Yes, rodents, plural! :D And not just one or two, but many phenotypes to come for that family. Next week I will start posting some images...

    I don't have it yet as I never had a need for an indian elephant (big difference physically and not as majestic and menacing looking as the African ones), but followed the promo thread and it looked brilliant. Knowing the African one will be a morph only, I'll definitely be picking it up
