Zev0 Aging Morph 3 Bundle Question

Question regarding the Zev0 – Aging Morphs 3 Bundle:  Both items say they are ‘Merchant Resource’.  What does that mean?  Is this something that I, as an end-user, would be interested in, or is this just for PAs?  I have most of his other items, including the Aging Morphs for G2M/F and would like them for G3M/F, but I’m confused if this would be the item to buy?  The whole ‘Merchant Resource’ thing is confusing me.

"Merchant resource" means that a PA can use them in a commercial product (they can't always use them in a freebie, the rules vary). An end user can just use them as they wis in their own images.

For the most part, any end user can use any merchant resource in their own images. I don't see an end user only ersion of these in the store, so I'm assuming that there isn't one.

Fair enough.  Into the cart it goes.  I think the one that really threw me was the G3 Growing Up Skin Merchant Resource product that came out a while back.  I wasn't sure what that really was so I passed as I leaned towards it just being a Merchant item.  After reading the page for the Aging Morph 3 items a couple times, I guess it finally pierced my Tylenol 3 clouded brain that it was probably something I could use.  But, it's always nice having confirmation.  yes

By merchant resource regarding Aging Morphs you can create characters using the morphs the same way people create characters using the Daz head and body morphs where the user will require them. However I have also allowed the hd morphs to be used for a sellers character skins via converting it's details to either displacement or normal texture details for skins.

I'd be really curious how that skin transformation can be done, HD morphs to Normals!

Zev0 answered a similar question in the commercial thread:

You will have to do that yourself though, but it is possible if you have something like Zbrush where you can convert th HD mesh detail to normal maps.

But it's all Greek to me... laugh

You need software. Substance Painter can do it. I'm going to give it a try.
