Talk to Knittingmommy.  She has done some poses for the wolf that are beautiful.  She may be able to help you.

Yeah, I can do that pose easily.  I'm headed out of the house and won't be back until about 9 pm Est.  But if you can wait that long, I can do it as soon as I get home and send you the pose tonight.

  • Yes, I can wait until later this evening.

    Thank you so very much!

  • Also, would love any other poses you have handy for the wolf...

I'm home and can work on this pose for you, but the link seems to have disappeared.  I can start work from memory, but, if you want the pose exactly like your picture, I need to see the picture again.  Since I was on my way out the door, I didn't save the picture.  You can PM me if you wish.

Okay, forget the last post.  Must have been a forum glitch because now the attachment is showing up.  I'm not sure what happened to it when I first logged on.

I finished the pose.  I hadn't posed that wolf much and it's a little different than the newer wolf.  Here is a picture.  Let me know if that is close enough to what you were needing.  It's about the best I can do with this figure unless I turn off limits.  I'm using DS 4.9 and haven't tested it in 4.8.  Which version of DS are you using?  If this works for you, I can package it up and upload it to my ShareCG account first thing tomorrow morning.

  • I actually use Poser11 shouldn't pose work in that as well?

  • Forgot to say pose looks great! Oops.

Oh, it should probably work, but I'm not sure.  I don't use Poser, but my guess is that it should.  However, I may have to package it up differently as you use Runtime and DS doesn't.  It shouldn't be that hard.  I'll figure it out in the morning and let you know when I've uploaded it and you can try it out.  You might have to tweak things depending on your ground as I posed the wolf on flat ground, but that shouldn't be too difficult.  And, thanks.  I was surprised I was able to get him so close to your picture.  I'm off to bed!  :)

  • Many thanks and dream sweetly. heart

Here is the link to the pose on my ShareCG page.  I converted it to .pz2 and it should be in the proper Runtime folder format.  Let me know if you have any problems since I can't test this in Poser.  I used DAZ's Poser Format Exporter for the conversion so, hopefully, it works.  It is the first time I've used the script.  I don't have any other poses for this particular wolf.  All of the poses I've been making are for the Wolf 2.0 and should be finished soon.  I'll try to make a few more poses for the Wolf by AM, but I don't know when I'll be able to get them, but I'll try to come up some soon.

{{Blush}} Ah, I like posing and it was fairly easy.  The hard part was figuring out how to put it in the proper format.  It was an interesting little challenge and probably a skill I should know even though I don't have Poser.

  • Thank you so much. Will test it out this evening!

  • Loads perfect! Thank you so much!

Now, if I can just convince my computer to render the wolf WITH fur... LOL

Great to know the pose works in Poser.  I've never done that before!  You are very welcome.  I'll let you know when I get some more poses done for that wolf and maybe you can test them out in poser for me.

  • I would LOVE to be your poser wolf tester!

Out of curiosity do you have Wolf 2.0 as well?

  • No, I have it in my wishlist. Just cannot afford it right now.

No, I have it in my wishlist. Just cannot afford it right now.

It's worth every penny.  There's also a Husky morph by CGNZ and an expansion set by Design Anvil.  There will be a PA sale in a month or two's time so you will be able to pick them up cheap then.

    Cheers,

    Alex.
