There will be a Male Tween too, won't it?

I see today Daz took out that new Tween Julie 7, but there will be a Male Tween too, won't it? Daz Staff promised they'll create a Male Tween this year, so I just want to confirm he'll be created, because it'd be unforgivable they'll create a female tween only again.

Please Daz, confirm Male Tween will be available in short time.

If it sold well enough, they'll do it.

They told they'll have a Male Tween this year

  • If i remember correctly from the last thread about males was that teen males didn't sell well and that their wouldn't be one, but who knows what will actually pop up next, i personally have never bought male characters and never will, not sure which thread it was in but was also a list of names still planned to be in the genesis 3 line.

Ryan 7. Expected out on the 23rd.

Or at least that's the current grist in the rumor mill. And yeah, we were told that there wouldn't be a male *teen*. So they are sidestepping and calling this one a *tween*. Actually, the younger variant might be more useful for dial-spinning one's own characters.

The poster just before you just said that DAZ (presumably) told them there will be a male tween. Even though at that age and younger, you can pretty much use the males and females interchangeably.

Gives then a chance to put together a bundle of casual sportswear. You'll notice that all of Julie's stuff, apart from the fantasy warrior outfit) was skirts and dresses.

Yeah, I'm not to sure how much autofit will fit on growup clothing on the tweens. Also boy's clothing can be pretty neat and have boyish themes which it often does.

I'll buy the hair if it is useful since there is so little male hair But I have zero interest in teens or tweens since I prefer to render adults.

I prefer male teens (or tweens) over females ones, that's why I created this thread. Contrary to ermullens; I have never bought female characters and never will.

As I understand it, fits for Tween Ryan 7 were potted in some hair or clothes, although I don't remember which ones.

Not touching Tween Julie until the boy arrives.

  • Taiuri, besides tween/teen figures not being as popular as adult/older figures, one reason for so few of them may be that Zevos' Growing Up products can morph a figure over such a wide range of ages with quite excellent results. I know it's not the same as having an origional figure specifically designed to be in a given age range, but the what sells and what doesn't sell issue always comes to the forefront in these conversations. Zevo is one artist I won't hesitate to recommend to anyone for my experience of the products I have purchased. Great products and great support. With Growing Up any adult figure I have can be aged to child/tween/teen/young adult just exactly how I want. The growing up skin resources can help make them look even more realistic than using the adult figures origional skin. Thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware.

Daz has said several times there will be a tween male for G3 so it will just be a matter of time. :)

I know about Zevo Growing Up product, and it's excellent, I've tried it. The only problem with him, like you mentioned, is the skin resource, for example, a while ago, I needed a black boy, I used Darius 6, the morph was excellent, but I couldn't use his skin, because it's unshaved, plus the haired body, and of course, I couldn't use his skin on a boy morph, and there isn't any black boy in the Daz Store for Genesis Generation, now you understand me? In the case of Female characters, there isn't problem, you can use a woman skin on a girl or teen without problems, however you can't do the same for Male characters. That's the importance Daz creates original Underage Genesis Male characters, and not focus on Female characters only.

    Yup. Week after next.

Like I say, it's from the rumor mil, but fits have shown up in recent products, so he'll show eventually.
