Where is light presets?! is that in the content library list usually?

  • Yes, the path is relative to DAZ Studio Formats>Content directory you installed to.

K I did the routine runtime installation into my library and it says on that page link you gave me: You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders: “Light Presets:OOT Dramatic Iray Lights”  but I cannot see this folder anywhere at all?!!?!??!

Once you do the manual standard installation (put the runtime folder in daz library) how can you actually find and Iray light product? I have installed this product manually:

     http://www.daz3d.com/dramatic-iray-lights

I cannot find it ANYWHERE in the normal Daz content library menu even though it clearly says in the documentation:

    • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:

      • “Light Presets:OOT Dramatic Iray Lights”

      •

But when I look there is no "OOT Dramatic Iray Lights" anywhere to be found and there does not even appear to be a "lights presets" folder. Can anyone help please? thanks.

Are you looking in the DS Content directory, or the Poser Runtime directory? Did you unzip and install it manually, or did you use install manager?

Strange, something has gone wrong somewhere. I did a manual install and I have the folder there OK. I'm attaching a screen grab showing where it is in my library, I've dragged the tab over to show the full path.

Have you looked in the zip file you installed to make sure it has correct directory structure? The Daz installers usually have everything in a directory called "Content", you have to take the contents out of this and put into whatever your library directory is called (mine is called "My Library" but I think some installations name it differently).

Why are you installing manually? Forget I asked, I don't really want to know.

And since this is a Studio only product, moving just the runtime is leaving out 90% of the product.

You need to go back to the Zip file and get ALL of the product. Then you will be able to find it.

The days when everything was in Runtime are long gone for most products you will find here today.

As I mentioned in the other thread, you didn't install the product.

Runtime is not enough. Go back and get the rest of it from the zip file.
