Thanks, that was my first thought too, to see, how your set will look like on the dark skin.

Dude. This thread is like this pic. And I didn't have room to put in "SereneNight Strozzi"  or "Sabu Taru Titian" or I would have.

    :sigh:

Ok sorry I am so late.... I was out late catching pokemon at the beach (lol!!!) I just got up.

KaAnna -- I LOVE this one, but Im a huge fan so I love everything you do. Its gorgeous! And its also so interesting to see the way you postwork... and how different it is. Its sort of like how different people approach doing content and how it can be so radically different.

Serene- WOW... that looks amazing on a guy!!! And it works rather well with them. Love  the image, and the bats.... and I love seeing how you guys use this so differently, with kitbashing or even using it on a diff figure.

Jaki, you are just silly... I saw the one u posted on FB.... you need to be putting Frank Frazetta's face on yours :P

    thats cool.

lol i had a similar idea but i just didn't have the stuff to pull it off, but what i wanted to do was make Vultan from the old Flash Gordon movie. "dive!"

Thanks for the kind words. =-) Not much really needed to be tweaked. Just needed a different bikini bottom. I confess I did not try to fit the top, because, well, bird guys don't need them. The skirt might've worked okay too, but I liked the legs. Wings just need to be parented to the back and it turned out well. =-)

Wow that's awesome :D Never would have considered this.

Rendered in iray. LOTS of postwork LOL. Used Retrodevil's free "Natasha" morph for the body plus Olympia 7 default skin and the markings are from "Warrior Makeup for G3F".

I was actually kinda happy with this one - reminds me of an album cover LOL.

Jaki, you already know I love yours... and I really have to agree with everyone, her body rocks! Izzat rune?

This set is beyond awesome. Truly an amazing set of clothing, with the colors I love. Great work!

One request if you ever make an expansion? A stray feather or two. I think for artistic effect a few loose feathers floating on the wind after a skirmish or something might be really visually interesting. There is a feather brush on rendo, but I wasn't sure I caould imitate the beautiful feathers you made with this set.

TY hon! Im really glad you like it!

And actually, in all honesty... if I find some time, I might be able to whip one up for you guys (a freebie) Or I could maybe just snag it off the wings, so it uses the same uv's and applies these materials to it. I know what u mean tho, I used the feather from my Phoenix for this promo.... it doesnt quite go tho lol

No, haven't got Rune yet. It's the freebie body/head morph that Retrodevil did, called Natasha. On his DA account http://retrodevil.deviantart.com/ She's a PERFECT warrior shape :D

Jaki, you already know I love yours... and I really have to agree with everyone, her body rocks! Izzat rune?

Jaki, well thats an awesome morph. Love the muscularity. Sort of reminds me of the elite morphs on V4 (except, even more defined)

DB - I love that one! Im glad you decided to post it. I love the color combos.

    Thanks.

Time to go outside, but the colors are not that bright. Any tips for composing renders for outside?

  • Great idea! Just a couple birds hanging out.

Ish prolly the angle of the lighting... you've got a strong rim thats lighting it up in areas, but more shadowy in the forefront (like the type of lighting you'd use if there's a building, or something blocking the sun - in this particular case, since shes atop trees, ud prolly want a strong enviro light that mimics the sun) You could try moving the lights around a bit (bringing that rim more into the front, aiming at her) or using a brighter enviro light, that is less dramatic.

Thanks for the tips. Your set is a keeper - just could not stop rendering with it - so many ideas.

Love the fuzzy wings, and the seprate poses for the wings are nice too. (i suck at manually posing wings)  Just a simple render for now while playing around with the set.

"Just a simple render" ....lol What? Looks better than 99% of my renders and it's "just a simple render" ...*dies inside*.

Thanks. yeah it was pretty quick i'd say about ten minute render. loaded the whole thing up 5 light's (all fairly bright, i said 1 age of armour ambient light set at 85% intensity. two aoa spots at 115 intensity, two aoa spots set to spec only. then some colour corrctions in gimp. painted a few highlights in paint tool sai.

i'd say no more than a couple hours. Lights would be too bright normaly but i already knew what background i wanted to use so i figure i'd set them brighter to match.

Lol i actualy spent more time on the other one on this page and in the end i didn't really care for it too much.

so you never know. some times the simple quick ones turn out better.
