This is what I bought last year:

it works pretty well doesn't overhear decent card. I would not upgrade to 10.
cheapest on Amazon with 2GB nVidia video card:

cheapest on Amazon with 4GB nVidia video card:

I'd recommend a desktop unless you need a laptop.
If you need a laptop, then like something above with an Nvidia card, even if you don't plan on Iray now.
Actually when & if DAZ Studio has this new AMD ProRender engine added to it you will definitely want to upgrade to Windows 10 because that is required for DirectX 12 and newer, more capable versions of openGL / openCL - it's openCL that the AMD ProRender engine uses.
I'll have to miss out for now. 10 ran poorly on my Asus.
You'll need to try again when & if this ProRender engine is added to DAZ. You will be missing huge render time improvements if you don't. Windows 10 has improved alot since last year when I did the initial RC but still it's a hassle to upgrade / new install unless you need the new DirectX 12 / openCL environment improvements.
I get very good results with my Acer Aspire V17 Nitro - Black Edition. Has an Nvida Geforce GTX 860M inside it.
