Gen 2 vs Gen 3 - which uses less resources in DAZ?

I've not heavily invested in Gen 3, but there seems to be a lot of very good content coming out for it.  How does a G3 figure stack up in terms of using system resourtces to a Gen 2 figure?

    It's subjective since any figure can be subdivided at render time. I believe genesis 3 has less polys than genesis 2 though

    Bear in mind that Gen 3 and Genesis 3 are not the same in "Daz terms". For instance, Gen 3  typically refers to Victoria 3, not Genesis 3.
