Ok my newest is out. I R late with the party thread. So here it is at last!!!!
I went off the beaten path with this one a bit.... to bring you something erotic, exotic and a little psychotic (srsly, texturing all those feathers was pretty psychotic) I had a little fun with iray on this one too lol

lol I post worked this twice and then I sat here for 2 hours trying to figure out which one I liked better.
LOL I do that crap sometimes too. And funny enuff, sometimes, its such a slight change and I still cant decide. So I stare.... and I unfocus my eyes.... and I zoom out... and I agonize lol Way of the arteest.

Love the fuzzy wings, and the seprate poses for the wings are nice too. (i suck at manually posing wings) Just a simple render for now while playing around with the set.
Wow DB... that is maginificent. Love the color choice! And lightning is my fave, next to fire!
And yeah, the wings are articulated. I was going to rig them with extra joints, but dealing with all the feathers in WM's was like... yikes. So they have a ton of morphs, and u can mix stuff up and get even diff poses than what I provided. In the end, I think it was better I morphed them instead.... I think they have far more capability than if theyd only been rigged.

the Purple texture were my instant favorite right when i saw the promo pics.
Yeah thunderbird is everyone's fave lol There was supposed to be a "snow bird" too (a roc - mythological arabic bird) but I thot all white would be too boring.
Just so they dont go to waste... these were my orig promos (rendered in 3delight) But I got swept up in iray and ended up redoing them completely
One more. slightly edited the texture colours for this one, mixed in some Lady Darkness.

WOW... you are on a roll today DB. This one is awesome too, and it surprisingly goes pretty well with Lady D (love when you kitbash stuffs. The one Im working on now takes that to an extreme actually... if all goes as planned)

not sure if this is big or clear enough to really see, but after i did that last picture i decided to experiment with the bird helm and lady D's helm and mixed them.
Huh... they fit together so well. Did you have to use morphs to fit them?
i didn't have to do much. just made the face plate invisable, and widened the mask just a hair so it didn't clip with the feathers, but overwise it fit over the bird mask perfectly.
That moment something works with something else and you never intended it to lol

Y'all are killin it with these amazing renders! And Barb, don't short change youself on the 3DL renders, they look really great. Life doesn't have to be all Iray all the time, right? I'm working on fear and intimidation with the heavy hitters in here posting renders.

This is a great outfit! I used it for a fantasy depiction of the lions's den in the Bible, where an angel closes the lions' mouths. Hope you like it!
Wish list would be to be able to manipulate each wing freely and independently of each other. Otherwise I love this outfit!
Suze -- ty hon!! And yeah, iray is fun for sure... but its taking me like 2 hrs to render a single promo now. Need moar power! lol IDK that Id never render a 3dl again... both are great, really, for diff reasons.
dawnblade -- Great render!!! She really got those kitties tamed.
As for the wings... well, they are rigged independently.... so each left and right wing move on their own. The only thing is that the morphs aren't. I would have liked them to be split, but they arent perfectly symmetrical, which would have made each side look too different. I will def keep the suggestion in mind, should I add to them later (or in future sets with wings)
