What coupon?????? Already got it though
No coupon, but there was an additional (automatic) discount for people who had purchased from the artists before (I don't know the precise requirements for the offer).
Thank you!
The character is different, a lot of fun to work with.
Does owning a hell of a lot of hair by GT ring a bell, perhaps? :-) GT is one of my favorite hair creators. Does a great job.
Yes, I have a lot of her hair and of Lyoness's characters.
Why don't you ever show off any renders?
I would love to see more pictures!!!
Renders? You mean these aren't just a pretty way to fill up empty disc space? Why did no-one tell me?
Well, I'd guess that we end users have the right to do whatever floats the boat, when it comes to 3D content. As long as said usage doesn't violate the EULA, of course. :-)
Seriously, what does one do, when one doesn't render? Pull the characters up in Studio; slap clothes, hair, makeup, etcetera, on them -- or not -- then admire the screen?
Just wanted to chime in that the discount was appreciated and made it an easy purchase!
I may not have bought this product if not for the offer and I'm very glad I did. Although I do very few renders with female characters both the hair and the outfit are useable for my style of male fantasy—I was able to use both of them immediately in a render I'm working on. The hair is particularly good and renders superbly out of the box.
At my stage of learning Studio (which is extra slow due to "life"), pretty much. I'll add things, delete things, move things, light things, etc. And the IRAY accelerated work window updates really, really quickly and looks so lush. And hey, if something works, I'll even save the scene to tweak further.
A long way off having anything worth rendering, but it's still good fun.
Right, right. But some of us have hung around this place for years now, and Richard has been here longer than I have. I figure he's mastered the learning curve. But he ain't answering, so I won't push the outrageous bar any higher.
Good luck w/Studio, Peter. :-) I wish you the best. And rendering is a whole lot of fun, especially with the amazing products that are coming out, so you oughta try it. That's your choice though, of course. :-)
If you don't render how are you going to be able to look back at your work a year from now and see how much you've improved? I still giggle hysterically at some of my earliest attempts. And I haven't even been at it a year lol.
Amd yes, I too appreciated the extra discounts that were given, thank you!
There you go, that is an excellent selling point for the fine art of rendering. :-) I've seen your work, Ice Dragon, and it's top notch. Hard to believe you've only been at it a year.
OK, folks, again I appreciate the discount, too, very much. Honestly though, I believe I'll go find another thread -- at least for the time being -- to NOT derail.
LOL. Join the club.
Don't know if this is a thing with anybody else, and I don't know it'll ever stop with me, but it's amazing that you always immediately see what a piece could use after you've rendered and posted it somewhere. My FB page is the only place where I'll ocassionally let people see the evolution of an idea from initial concept to final render, but so far you can find several versions of some ideas I've had on different places around the web.
It'll be interesting in retrospect if I ever become well known.
He is busy playing with the Virtual Barbies, Just move them around reposition them and have tea parties just like everyone else.
Tea Parties?
Seriously. That is a little freaky.
Richard, I don't think you have tea parties. I'm on your side.
Isn't that what everyone does with vitual barbies? It is the same as the real Barbie Dolls usn't it?
or Maybe he has the GI Joe copmlex and is blowing things up Virtually.
I vote for the virtual bomb theory.
We are so OT.
