It's been years in the planning, but All The King's Men, an anthology of comics and short stories from dozens of writers around the world, is on track to be released by the end of this year. ATKM is my eighth major work so far, and all of them have used 3D assets purchased here.

---

The anthology’s focus is upon the lives of those on the periphery, ordinary people struggling to make sense of their lives and dreams in a galaxy torn apart by civil war.

Each of them is fleeing something different, but they’ve all come to the same place. When their ship is marooned in deep space, they pass the time by sharing stories. Things that have happened to them, events they’ve witnessed, rumours they’ve heard…

---

I'm the editor and sole artist for the book, and am using DAZ models as the basis for the artwork (see attached files).

Although the book isn't out yet, I'm maintaining a mailing list to keep interested parties up to date with its progress. Subscribers will also get a free copy of a graphic novel I made (using DAZ models) a couple of years back. If you're interested, you can sign up here: http://shanewsmith.com/email/ (No spam, ever. Just updates, ramblings, and free books.)

Happy to answer any questions about the book, or the method of production.

Sadly, Comixology really doesn't like my work. Have had nothing but heartache and headaches trying to upload files to them, and they are (or at least were, a couple of years ago) disappointingly unresponsive in the customer support department.

    C'est la vie.

All seven of my existing books have been published - three books by Canadian publisher Zetabella, and four by Australian publisher Deeper Meanings - and are available in digital and paperback formats. Three of them have been shortlisted in national awards.

Comixology would have been a nice supplementary venue for selling my work, but the books were already out and about and getting their accolades, so I wasn't too fussed when submitting books to Comixology didn't work out.

    I appreciate the encouraging words.

  • Hi everyone,

I'm thrilled to let you know that we've just kicked off an online launch event for All The King's Men

The finished product is 700 pages long and weighs over 2 pounds. You can get the digital version for just $5.00AU (that's around $3.50US). Other options include a paperback copy of this 700 page monolith at more than 30% off the normal retail price.

    Happy to answer any questions.
