I need one for a sci-fi render I've been asked do. Any pointers? I didn't see one here on Daz, but I'm also half blind so I may have mnissed it.

I want to say that merchant named 3-D-C had a scifi furniture set that had an egg chair in it. But looking at his site[s] I can't find it anymore. I want to say it was even a freebie set too. I have it but there is nothing showing up in my files that are loaded in Poser to indicate who was the author, usually file name or something but they just labeled it FuturisticFurniture and my Poser files are all over the place I can't find the original zip that might have a readme in it giving me a clue. I'll keep looking, it was pretty neat set, certainly scifi look in textures.

Edit: Retiretomaui I'm sending you a PM with a link. It was Colfek-gnorg who was the artist...and I was wrong it wasn't free...sorry got it in like 2009, memory hazy :)

I searched for futuristicFurniture +poser (trying to find the furniture in Nosiferret's post) and I didn't find any for free, but I found this cool set of Retro-Futuristic Furniture for 10 dollars: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/retro-futuristic-furniture/70108 , I have spent so much in Daz sales in the last few days so I can't afford it now, but i wishlisted it :D

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see the edit, Nosiferret, I see that you have sent a link to the model allready, I'm guessing it's the same set since it's made by the same artist.

Expose PinUp Set has some slightly different chairs. And poses! You can really morph those chairs and make them plumper, etc. And here at DAZ.

I'm pretty sure Luxxeon on Deviant Art has a free egg chair. Luxxeon's models are top rate.

Note that LuxXeon's models (he does jewellery as well as furniture, both excellent quality) are in .obj format, so they can't be installed directly into your content location, they have to be imported then saved as a Prop Asset to convert them properly into D|S native format. And the materials will need to be rebuilt from the supplied textures or (usually for metals) replaced altogether. It takes a little bit of work, but the results can be really, really good.
