She looks very CG Ghost in the Shell, but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about her face.
The lack of good introduction sale also makes me sad.
I'm really interested to know who made the "Lolita" character in the pro bundle - she isn't credited to anyone other than Daz.

I love everything about this new figure: just the right amount of "anime" and "toon", and the items included in the Pro/Starter bundles aren't cheesecakey.
And the best part? The Sci-Fi items!!!
Well, they really went haywire on the hair, but I'm sure some people can use it.
Another year, another Aiko that doesn't have the AikoToon look I've been asking for these last 7 years. Ah well, hopefully she'll be popular. :)

The days of Aiko being anime seem to be long gone (in fairness, it does appear to be extremely hard to make anime characters with Genesis due to facial features esp eye shapes.)
She looks very CG Ghost in the Shell to me and the outfits support it. I think she'd go well for westerners with the upcoming movie release.
I really want to know who made the Lolita character in the pro bundle, since she's only credited to Daz.
They did a really good job with Callie 6 though (PLEASE make a 7). A little Callie mixed with Girl gives great Disney-esque toony results.
Although I do like her and most likely will get her, I too am surprised how non Aikoish she looks. I was hoping for more of a Genesis 1 look or even Aiko 3/4
I really liked Callie and Keiko (way more than I liked Girl 6 or Aiko 6.) With Girl 7 trending towards Callie's end I wonder if that means that there won't be a Callie, and I'm surprised that Aiko has gone even further away from the Keiko anime end.
I want to get her but I haven't decided exactly what to get yet. The only "offer" means buying a lot more stuff, and there's no mention of a discount on the upcoming male companion.

Im so on the fence about her. I look at her from a toon perspective and think that she looks a little too realistic and then I look at her from a realism pespective and think that she looks a little too toonish.
I just got Keiko 6 as well. Keiko is a fun character.

Just a heads up that a lot of add-on products -- ie. textures -- for the main Aiko items aren't inside the sale itself, so don't miss those items if you're interested in them!
I didn't even look at the contents just shoved the pro bundle along with face it and cyberfit straight into my cart and bought it without looking worked out roughly $1 cheaper than buying pro on own so basicly got two products free it was that promo pic liked the face and I have bought every Aiko Pro since think 4, 3 never had a pro but had a big anima+ bundle which got and got 1&2? bases ok with those other pro bundles think got them on specials but still got them all think she is the only one got all the pro bundles of each generation even though I probably don't use her as much as others
soooo any guesses on who her counterpart is going to be if she's getting one that is but going by the last releases everyone seems to be getting one and going by offers on last bundles probably get discount on next one :)
I was thinking of getting CyberFit and Sakura with the Pro Bundle, but it doesn't seem to include anatomical elements, and I'm not a fan of incomplete textures.
I guess I'll have to go with FaceIt and CyberFit too - Aiko's skin looks amazing but I still think her face is a bit weird.

Instead of a Hiro 7, we get a Mecha bundle.
DAZ_Steve confirmed we are getting an "anime male" to go with Aiko but it won't be Hiro.
I'm a bit bummed that there's no mention of getting a discount on him later if we buy the bundle now but I guess I'll just buy it anyway and hope for one~

Same here. Surely if Raw can make animal people out of the new figures, someone could manage to make something that looks like an updated Aiko 4. Aiko 7 strikes me as too realistic and too old.
Natsuko and Sakura are actually closer to what I would expect for a base Aiko figure.

I am glad you like Sakura, Both Characters (Sakura & Lolita) i wanted to make very different to show the diversity of Aiko's morph.

i think she looks great. unsure if i will buy just yet though. im still hoping for an Ysabeau equivalent...sort of a hybrid between a realistic, fantasy and anime character

Okay, time to point-out the obvious... The Razor-Cut Bob and Waterfall Tails Stylized Hairs are clear references to Biosock Infinite's Elisabeth and Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku.
Also, who else is noticing that all her content is now 100% J-Pop as opposed to anything traditionally Japanese? Hell, she's not even referred to as anything "Anime" in her description anymore. Aiko has officially become her own niche and everything specifically Anime/Manga is now Keiko's territory...
I would say the other way around as I see Aiko 6 was the last of the Aiko series that had that certain charm.. Aiko 7 seems to have lost that Anime look that Aiko was known for.. Infact if you look at Aiko's 3 4,5 and 6 Aiko 7 looks nothing like them now..
Yeah I would say that Keiko is the new Aiko when it comes to Anime/Manga characters, since Aiko 7 looks nothing like her forebears, to me she has lost all that made Aiko, Aiko..
They might be, but the waterfall tails hair looks nothing like Miku to me and the razor cut bob could just as easily be inspired by ghost in the shell (which Aiko trends really heavily towards these days) or any of a billion other characters with that sort of short hair. Trying to make Elisabeth or Miku with Aiko 7 would break my brain - I like her as she is, but she's about a billion miles from cute anime.
The outfits just look standard scifi/cyberpunk to me (apart from the EGL one which also is not J-Pop.)
I do like Aiko 7 (and more than 6 who felt really lost as to what she was trying to be) but she's very different from old Aiko, and certainly not toon/anime. She makes me think more cyborg - lots of realistic detail, yet also not quite real human. Kinda like this sort of style. Still hoping for a cute anime girl with proper anime style outfits but it's starting to feel like Daz isn't the place to deliver for that.
